Huge drop in quality. As someone who supported Tori’s since they opened I have to say this is a big disappointment and I won’t look them up in the future.
Bought cupcakes for a kids party, the GF were inedible, big chunks of flour in the cake. The regular cupcakes were no better, take wrapper off and kids were left with a hand full of icing, the cake part was so crumbly it just fell apart. My dog ended up with more cake off the floor than my guests. Not the quality I was used to when they baked their goods on site.

Love love love their vegan, gluten free muffins, cakes and desserts. I drive 45 minutes to indulge their desserts. I loved their Flaxseed berries muffins, they are so delicious, not too sweet, just perfect. For chocolate lovers- try Zuc Choco muffin. I highly recommend this place

Kitschy and chic cafe with great coffee and service. Super bonus points for many yummy gluten free options!

Don’t order Tori’s from Uber Eats. Tori’s accepted the order, but then called to say they didn’t have any left. They told me to cancel the order. I tried to explain that it doesn’t work that way. If I cancel I will get still get charged. But it was so loud in the background they couldn’t hear me (I was at home with no background noise). I had to cancel the order. Uber charged me for the food because of the inconvenience to the restaurant… what??? Tori’s- don’t accept the order if you can’t fulfil it. You got my money. I got nothing but a headache.

This is my wife's favourite bake shop. This review is about delivery especially local delivery in Toronto. I ordered a custom birthday cake for her birthday not only did it not arrive when I followed up custom service was abysmal. They refused to do a refund even after I sent proof it was not delivered. My advice do not order online from them because if anything happens to the delivery they will not refund or attempt another delivery. I had to go through my credit card for refund.

Nice atmosphere and service, but inedible gluten free pastries. As someone who has tried the majority of gluten free bakeries in Toronto and countless storebought goods, it’s ludicrous that this bakery is charging $5.93 for a single black forest cupcake. The cupcake had a weird texture, it was like munching on uncooked quinoa in between cake crumb. The frosting was overwhelmingly sweet and not creamy at all. I’ve had plenty of good vegan frosting at other bakeries—this was not it. There was very little cherry filling and it should have been a jam-like consistency, instead I think they just soaked dried cherries in sugar syrup. Not to mention the black forest cupcake is a “seasonal” flavor which is how the bakery justifies an extra $0.75 surcharge. Last I checked, dried cherries are available year-round so I’m confused and you should be too.

I have been coming here since they opened and can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed it yet! I love the fact that everything is vegan and almost half of their display has gluten free options. Have tried a few of the hot drinks which are good. You want to come Saturday mornings for the cinnamon buns not Sundays as they are usually left over from day before so not as fresh. They had excellent almond croissants at the weekend but unfortunately not always every weekend so hard to know when to get them. The prices have increased ( understandable but still a cinnamon bun and a croissant about $12), but have found them on Food To Go as well so don’t mind if a day old at $8 for number of items I get! Definitely worth a try plus they make custom made cakes for various occasions.

+Delicious sugar free berry cake!
+Kindly facilitated a custom order request, and on short notice
-Communication difficulties
-Butter croissant was more like a donut, and sadly not good

I contacted Tori's for a custom cake inquiry - I wanted a smaller sugar free berry cake for my baby's cake smash as the 6" on their website was too big, but the ingredients were perfect and better than anything else I could find in the area.

It was VERY hard to get ahold of them (never answer the phone, Instagram DMs were responded with "We'll check!" but no follow-through beyond "No update yet but try calling the shop!"). However, once I got through to someone by email, although it took some lengthy back and forth, they were very accommodating and were kindly able to facilitate my custom order as an exception, even on short notice. I really appreciated this, and happily, the cake was perfect and delicious! (Not too sweet, tasty, and the perfect size.)

Sadly, I did not find the in-store offerings to be very good, which is unfortunate because I was excited to see that the pastries were non-dairy, which is hard to find. The matcha latte was a dull green (green vibrancy is indicative of matcha quality) and was below average (I drink a lot of matchas), and the butter croissant was truly awful (had the taste and texture of a sweet donut - at first I thought I was given a donut by mistake, but it was in fact the croissant).

I would return for the order-ahead cakes, but not for anything in the cafe.

This place used to be so awesome! I was really disappointed with my very pricy drink today. I paid for a large but she made a small. I pointed it out, no big deal, but then she asked me if I wanted the small. No…I paid for a large. I asked for it to be extra hot and it was just lukewarm, and it had a bit of an off taste to it but I couldn’t be bothered to deal with it further. I’m sad to hear that it’s changed hands because it’s not the same and I definitely won’t be back.

Everything there is vegan ? They have a lot of different muffins, cakes and croissants. We went there for breakfast. Because of the good reviews we expected a lot. Unfortunately the coffee was a little bit sour and the cinnamon bun was from the day before. But everything on our plate tasted good. ?

Wow, what happened to Tori’s, place was a gem, now staff read books while we get to sit next to a bunch of dead bugs. Was gonna sit outside, but who wants to sit next to that?

Also, the selection here used to be at a much higher level.

Sorry ?

I got a chocolate birthday cake for my wife and even my kids couldn’t handle how sweet it’s the cake. If I close my eyes, it seems I’m eating a spoon of sugar.
