It was pretty solid. Food was good but I had a bit of issues with the staff. I was throwing my food and cups out and about 15 minutes later, I had the bartender come up to me accusing me of throwing a cup at their associate.

My friend and I were shocked because we saw nobody and the bartender kept giving me such a dirty look to which she really didn't let me defend myself and took me as a liar.

Before I left, I asked who the associate was so I can apologize if I did accidentally get her (despite putting a cup directly into the garbage) but the bartender refused to let me know who and kept assuming that I was in the wrong. She took me as a joke and I went on with me day. Terribly disappointed to be treated like that and not let me clear things up and just have the bartender rudely come up to me and just accusing me without letting me explain myself. Probably won't go here for a while in case they remember me and treat me bad.

Food is an abomination
It’s a tourist trap it’s not worth it at all
Food was cold and overpriced
If you wanna enjoy the view just seat on the grass area nearby

Nothing says summer fun than chilling out on a lakeside patio. Really cool place to visit.

Probably one of the most rude bartenders and terrible experiences Ive ever had at a bar. Totally unprofessional and sarcastic in a nasty way. Will never come back here again

Awful experience. The timings listed on Google (closes at 8 p.m.) aren’t accurate because they didn’t care to update them. Most of their patio area was closed off due to “wet paint”. We walked in at 7:10 and ordered a pitcher, only to be kicked out at 7:30 by a server who barely spoke proper English. Hiring better servers who know basic customer service skills would go a long way.

The food tasted completely off. Spent way too much. No flavour with anything. Especially the Mac N Cheese which had plastic cup that contained its contents and that cup was burnt which is simply not safe to consume. Just go for a beer and patio view. Stay away from the cafeteria food that’s way too expensive. Place is also not sanitary.

Please do not waste your money on this place! $20 for a burger that we couldn't even finish. Cold bun, barely warm previously frozen meat - it was just horrible. Ribs as well, barely warm, you can feel the meat is old and was frozen for a while before it was cooked. And the prices!!! Insane

So sad that the owners have the privilege of a beautiful location and the amount of tourists do not care at all about the quality of food or service.

Nice place for a drink whilst waiting for the ferry. Prices are good and they have a good beer selection. Good city views too.

Honestly, I don’t normally do food reviews, but our experience unfortunately warranted it.

We got the Island Tacos (Brisket), BBQ Baby Back Ribs, and the Pacific Power Bowl.

Ribs were cold and not slathered with enough sauce, not enough flavor. Island tacos were also cold and flavor profiles were ok. Power bowl had basically al dente brown rice and the flavors did not mesh well together of the other elements (kimchi and radish were too salty, not enough flavor on edamame.) Flavors did not balance out.

Service was okay, a worker was rude to my dad when he was inquiring about the drink options in the patio.

Basically, you’re better off eating something on the mainland or packing your own food if you’re visiting the Toronto Islands. Not worth the price, save yourself the 70 bucks! Only nice thing was the view from the patio.
