Great atmosphere and beer selection right in the heart of downtown Toronto 🍻

The best pub I’ve been to downtown.
Great atmosphere and quick service.
I really enjoyed the beer selection and was surprised they even had my favourite beer (Liefmans).
The fried calamari was 11/10. Great sauce and it tasted great.
Pork Knuckle was also made perfectly and was really delicious.
The apple crumble at the end was fantastic!
Cant wait for my next visit.
Had a great time here. Breaded calamari, frulli, and apple crumble stole the show! Duck was also good. Service quick and friendly.
Disgusting place with rude service! I've never encountered worse! I recommend the hostess get treatment instead of working with people! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
Went for a couple interesting pints on a stiflingly hot night. Cold beer, good service, nice patio. Precisely what I was looking for. 30 beers on tap from around the world.

This place is fantastic! They have an enormous variety of beers and an excellent food menu. We picked the Belgian beer beef stew with a side of fries, and it was absolutely amazing. It goes really well with beer and can serve two people if you're not too hungry. The service was excellent. The patio is small, and there's not much leg space under the tables, which makes it a bit uncomfortable. The atmosphere is pretty nice, regardless of that.

The Crier has it all! Great location, drink selection, and an impressive menu. We ate here before a Jays game and the atmosphere was fun, lots of buzz on the patio and comfortable seating inside. Special shoutout for the Moroccan inspired Tagine - not common to find this at a pub. Kevin G also chatted with us and gave some recommendations for the area, nice guy.

Beer was very good and chicken flatbread was a hit. Slightly expensive but I would go back. Overall 4/5.

Great selection of European lagers and pilsners. Moreover, the selection of authentic German and Belgian food is superb.

The Town Crier Pub is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere with an amazing selection of European beers. The vibe is cozy and rustic perfect for a laid-back night out or a casual dinner. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, especially when helping us pick from their extensive beer list (the Belgian options were top-notch!).
Great portion sizes and well-priced for downtown. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this place is worth checking out. Will definitely be back!

Tons of drink options. Great atmosphere.
Schnitzel was a bit soggy. Maybe fries are best on a separate plate.
