We walked in about 5 minutes before closing without a reservation, and our server was super accommodating and friendly. We had the shrimp carbonara and shrimp arrabbiata, both were incredible. Great flavors and perfectly cooked shrimp. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Friends ordered in from here tonight. It was fabulous. The eggplant parmesan was amazing as was the chicken and veal parmesan. Large portion of veggies (perfectly done) and pasta on the side. Wow and the pizza.. .delish!!

We had an amazing experience at this lovely restaurant! The staff made us feel like we stepped right into their kitchen at home. They had excellent recommendations and a menu full of well priced comfort food served in huge portions. Because of how reasonable everything was we were able to try apps, drinks and dessert! 10/10 would rec and will be back to try more!

Good food, but not authentic carbonara ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Went here for the first time with family. We tried the shrimp salmon carbonara. The dish was enjoyable, but it leaned more toward a cream-based Alfredo style — authentic carbonara is usually made with just egg yolks, cheese, and pancetta/guanciale, without cream. Portion size was generous and filling. Since it was such a hot day, I would have loved to see more refreshing drink options (like an iced lemonade), rather than the diluted cranberry soda I was given. Overall, a nice meal with some room for improvement.

A night full of delicious Italian comfort food, what more can you ask for? The seafood linguine was sublime, especially for a big appetite like me. One giant bite of the linguine covered in a refreshing tomato sauce, which contains a subtle seafood aroma. Then follow it with a bite of a wide variety of seafood, which includes lobster tail. The sprinkling of capers also provides brightness in every other bite for an entertaining contrast.
Next was the chicken parm, where the breast meat is covered in an absorbent layer of breadcrumbs and fried to a juicy interior, while the batter clings onto the delicious tomato sauce like Velcro. It's topped with a gooey and bouncy layer of mozzarella and served with linguine and steamed veggies. You know, for health.
You should not skip the tiramisu, though, which is tremendous value for the price that doesn't properly allude to the addictive gastronomic experience you're walking into. It achieves my ideal ladyfinger-to-cream ratio, the former being soaked in a fragrant espresso liqueur that'll wake you up as it melts on your tongue. It's topped with a not-too-sweet mascarpone cream that's silky smooth, and a generous dusting of cocoa powder. Seriously contemplating ordering another despite being quite full. The decor is warm, inviting and home-style.
We went there on a hot day, and their air-conditioning was not working. Under the hot temperature it was impossible to enjoy the food. I emailed the owners to complain but got no reply. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
love this place!!!
I ordered take out and then had to dine in because the food was so delicious even as a take out.
my favorites are Shrimp and Scallop pasta and Baked Chicken Pasta.
The place is a small traditional Italian place and the price is very reasonable and affordable. the portions are big and each pasta dish was two meals for me. I love the traditional style table setting.
If you feel like real traditional Italian food, go here and support a family business :)

Just off the plane and looked for an Italian for our son who loves Italian food. This place was brilliant. Super friendly staff, amazing seafood pasta, and a nice environment too.

Food and service was great. I would have preferred air conditioning rather than open windows.
If it is AUTHENTIC “Chef’s Kiss” Italian cuisine you are looking for, with TOP NOTCH service and friendliness (Miguel, the owner, and his team Seneca & Quinn - are OUTSTANDING), partnered with the most INTIMATE and INVITING atmosphere (the decor is so conducive to the Italy experience) - then look no further because TRATTORIA di PARMA has all this, and MORE!
SIMPLY THE BEST Italian restaurant on The Danforth and with VERY reasonable pricing!
Oh - did I mention the incredibly SOCIAL and WELCOMING regular customers? Well, you get that too! :)))))
Grazie TRATTORIA di PARMA!!!
Amazing and delicious food and a service that is on par with it. Weve had a few pasta plates and a pizza, all were amazing and fresh, we were also surprised by how quick the food came out to us. We also tried 4 of their desserts and they were all really good and nicely priced. We will come back here on our next trip to Toronto!
Kids friendly!
The food and service was excellent and the price very reasonable. We will definitely go back!
Been so curious about this place. Very old school feeling menu but extremely delicious and portions are huge. Hidden gem
