This is a wonderful restaurant. I celebrated my birthday at this lovely restaurant and 50 people attended. We had a proper Italian feast - everything was delicious! I cannot recommend the food more highly. Thank you to all the people who made my special evening so wonderful!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of their food after ordering delivery, especially as someone who has visited in person and enjoyed their dishes when properly made. I ordered the Capellini and tiramisu - the capellini came without any goat cheese (which is the selling point of the dish) and the tiramisu was smaller than the size of my hand. The tiramisu when ordered at the restaurant is enough for two people, but the delivery one would barely feed one person. I’d expected significantly better quality regardless if I order in person or delivery, especially at the price point they’re charging.

Great food and service. I went with my partner for a late lunch and the food did not disappoint. We got the burrata as appetizer and it was so good and fresh. The lasagna was tastier than I imagined and the presentation was so pretty. My partner got the pasta mafalde, which was the right amount of creamy and tasty. The atmosphere was a little loud to talk with the music and background noise, but it was still an enjoyable lunch.

Came here for winterlicious and everything tastes amazing. The waiter though keeps splattering water when he was pouring it to the glass. But I understand he's probably new. The biggest problem we had was when we ordered off WINTERLICIOUS menu and ordered from their normal menu for our daughter. We ordered CALAMARATA but requested to remove the Chili because it's for a 9 year old girl. Our server agreed and she said she's gonna make sure that it will be removed. The food came and my daughter ate it right away, she didn't think that there will be chili and she didn't see it because it's mixed with red cherry tomato. It was very spicy and she accidentally ate a piece of chili and when I checked, there was a lot. Writing this review as a caution because it can be tragic for other kids with severe allergies.
CB and I braved the February chill last night for a Winterlicious date at Trattoria Nervosa. This long-time neighborhood gem in Yorkville had just re-opened after a January face-lift, and wow, the new interior is so elegant. But I am glad they kept the photo wall by the stairs – a nod to their roots. Our server Catarina was great with the wine list, but we ended up taking a tip from our table neighbor—who just happened to be the COO of the resto group. When the founder tells you to drink the Trevitis Nebbiolo, you drink the Trevitis Nebbiolo. It was a total win. We both started with the Carpaccio di Manzo. It was delicious – fine slices of beef tenderloin with pine nuts, and a rich Moliterno-truffle emulsion , with a perfectly balanced red wine vinegar dressing. I could have eaten this all night. For mains, CB had the Rigatoni Bolognese (veal and beef Ragu), while I had the Mafalde ai Funghi – mushroom, parmagiano, more truffle oil on thick ribbon pasta with wavy edges. Both were outstanding (especially the Mafalde – I will definitely come back for that!) and portions were very generous. We ended with tiramisu, cannoli latte and a limoncello. Summary: Wonderful Winterlicious dining experience in new elegant digs. Incredibly flavorful food and fine service. A memorable night. Don't miss this one.

Expected alot from this restaurant, I ordered the lasagna and unfortunately it came out cold. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs and the spaghetti was all stuck together like maybe it was sitting for a long time. By the time my lasagna came back out (longer time than when we originally first ordered our meals) my husband was long done his dinner and I thought maybe they had made a new piece it , however it was still the same piece just warmed up with some more parm. Cheese added to the top. We were also never offered more than our one drink we ordered when we first got there. Maybe it was because they were only opened a few days after their renovations? They did comp. A dessert without asking which was nice. Atmosphere was nice as well just had higher hopes from the food.

Trattoria Nervosa is consistent on service delivery and quality of food. Would suggest that they update their website, as we went earlier to partake in their happy hour, but we were advised that it was no longer available when we inquired within the stated duration (3-5pm).
