Great service and food was amazing. Seemed server was trying to push all the “high priced” items. I wouldn't have picked that wine but didn't get an opportunity to ask about since I'm not all that familiar with Italian wines.

The food and service were excellent. The only draw back was the table was awkward and difficult to get in or out of the booth.

The braised beef risotto is to die for.

I’ve been here probably twice a year since I first went 3 years ago. I’ve yet to be able to convince myself to get anything other than the risotto as a main. But the drinks and desserts I’ve had here have also been delicious

One of the best Italian spots in Toronto. The Mafalde is one of my favorite pasta dishes in the city. We frequently also order the Rigatoni Bolognese and Risotto Nervosa, which are always delicious.

The service is almost always friendly and kind, though we have occasionally had somewhat less than positive experiences with staff that were likely stressed by the dinner rush. I highly recommend arriving early, especially on weekends, as the wait can be 30 min to an hour during peak times.

The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere in both interior dining rooms as well as on the upstairs and street-level patios. Prices are also very fair for the quality of food, particularly for the Yorkville area.

What a big disappointment! I have been here many times over the years and it's always been amazing. Went for my Birthday last week and it was absolutely horrible from walking in the front door.
First I give the hostess the reservation name and spelled the last name, 2 girls walk up and ask her if she's taking walk ins. Instead of assisting me as I was clearly before them and I had a reservation, she takes their name, phone number and goes on to tell them she will text them. She then turns and looks at me and I repeat the reservation details. She then rudely says I don't have a reservation under that name. I spelled it AGAIN and she says oh I thought you said something else. Doesn't apologize for making me wait while she tends to someone else who came in after me or for the error!!
Go to the table.
We order our food, kale salad, pizza and mushroom pasta which I have had numerous times. The pasta was absolutely horrible. It was cold, undercooked and the sauce was gummy. We couldn't even eat it, it was so bad we sent it back. My friend was treating me for my Birthday and was so disappointed she went to tell I guess the Manager. He shows up at the table with 2 shots. What an assumption that everyone drinks alcohol, which I do not. I declined it and he looked at me like I was from another planet. How about you ask? How about a cappuccino or a piece of desert for such a horrible meal and service.
I'm not really sure what's going on here, but it was a huge disappointment and you guys need to know this!

We visited Nervosa twice and each time it was amazing! From appetizers to mains, everything was delicious, but the second time, we were even more impressed we left with the satisfaction of wanting to come back again and again. Our server took care of us the entire time, and when the wine we initially requested wasn’t available, she recommended an alternative that paired perfectly with our meal. Attentive service like this is rare.
Thank you, Nervosa and Katy we will definitely be back!

Whilst one may be inclined to experiment with variety, in the case of Trattoria Nervosa, experimentation must be accompanied by an order of Mafalde ai Funghi. Across the Gusto 54 Restaurant Group's Toronto locations, this dish reigns supreme. The value of fresh, al dente Mafalde simply cannot be overstated.

The food and service were very good. The only complaint that I have is that the lighting at the tables is very poor. It should not be necessary to turn on my phone flashlight.

Terrible! They couldn’t even use the microwave properly! What Italian restaurant, microwaves their pasta!! My mushroom pasta came out steaming hot, and my partner’s lasagna was ice cold. What an absolute joke of a restaurant — this must just be some kind of Instagram teenager hang out or something. What an absolute joke!!!!
