Food and service was excellent, although the restaurant appeared to be short staffed - despite this our server was fantastic. Food was great, and really good value for money. The restaurant was very loud but may have been due to timing as well as a planned event near our seats. Would definitely go back, definitely recommend it. Also very good for those with allergies.
We were seated upstairs where a large private party was being held. Extremely noisy and very slow service. Waited awhile for our drinks and never came to refill water until we requested a couple of times. We ordered apps - a margherita pizza and added some veggies that was ok and mushroom salad that was very bland. Also ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio as they only had a couple of white wines by the bottle available as a result of LCBO not selling US wines. Suggest they expand white list with wines available from Australia , New Zealand , France etc so customers have more choice. Our mains ordered was the fettuccine bolognese and veal Marsala ( chicken Marsala was on menue but we asked to substitute veal for chicken). The fettuccine was very bland and average and the veal Marsala was not bad. Both could have used more flavour. Price of dinner and wine was $165 plus tip which is not unreasonable but was hoping for better service, less noise so we could talk and hear each other and more tasty food. Unsure if we would go back
Wonderful ambience. People very gracious and accommodating. Exceptional service and delicious food. Well worth the money.
Cosy place with a welcoming atmosphere. Nice decor. Pleasant service. Delicious food . Will definitely return. !!
I was extremely disappointed with the service. I ordered the Spaghetti all Nerano with the request that the pasta be cooked soft as this would be a choking hazard for me after recent throat surgery I was told that would be no problem. The request was ignored and came out al dente. I again explained that I could not eat the pasta cooked this way. When they returned it the dish came back completely glutinous. The pasta was simply refried and returned. My Birthday dinner consisted of two glasses of red wine and an empty stomach

First time in this restaurant. Awesome food and service! I was there alone just to have a small appetizer before my next appointment. Glad i dropped in.

I showed up at 9:05 pm and the doors were open and google says the are open until 10pm but after a few staff sat there they said they were closed and they close early so I told them they should update their into on their google site. We will see
Great little neighborhood Italian restaurant. There’s been a lot of buzz around this place so we had to try it.
Small space with impressive table setting. Classy with tablecloths, crystal glasses and lovely dishes. A nice start. Plenty of choices on the menu, a little pricey, but not out of line with a nicer restaurant.
Our table of four tried many things and substitutions, modifications to our meals were accommodated with a smile.
Caprese salad was a little bland.
Calamari was good, fairly average
Veal Marsala had a delicious fragrant sauce. Medallions could have been a bit more tender. Pizza was the winner for me. I love a thin crust. The thinner the better. This pizza had a very thin crust where the toppings were, but a thicker crust around the edge. A knife and fork type of pie. Delicious, done to perfection.
We can’t comment on the wine as we are a table of non drinkers. Only complaint I have is the noise level. It’s a very tight space and with all the groups, it got very loud on a Saturday night. I’ll be back though, to try the pasta!

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for three years now and have always passed by this restaurant and wondered if it was good. I ordered two pizzas, a margherita and calabrese, and was disappointed with both. The crust appears well browned with ‘leopard spots’ on the perimeter but underneath is pretty pale. We received a regular cheese pizza instead of a margherita, and you can taste the lack of quality in the mozzarella they use. It tastes like store bought “pizza mozzarella”, very low moisture and was applied quite thick. For $20 per pizza, you would expect higher quality. If you’re looking for exceptional wood fire pizza, go to Otto a little further down the street.

One of our favorite local restaurants. The service is consistently good and the food is always great.
The pasta dish was drowned in a tomatoe sauce and shrimps were over cooked . Not as good as I have had it in the past. Very disappointing
Had a quick lunch here, today. Pizza was perfect; wine was a full glass @ $15…was very good for that price (and it wasn’t flat)…and hats off to full glass pours! none of this 4oz nonsense; beer was cold. Waitress was on it and not intrusive (and yes she was attractive but that has no bearing on this review). Good decor - very suitable for dinner crowd.

I would’ve said at least the atmosphere is beautiful if it hadn’t been ruined by us being
sat at the very back(hopefully not a race discrimination in Toronto), and not one check up on how the food was. One of the main was decent but the gnnochi- I could not finish because it just felt like flour, no chewiness whatsoever, and the tomato sauce just tasted like rosemary which I kept biting into. I usually dont leave reviews, especially bad ones but even though no one was directly rude, I felt ignored the entire time despite having spent roughly 75$ per person. Very disappointed by the fact I had to spend money and time here.
