Their Taro&Taro was delicious. Fresh taro meets fresh milk and soft and chewy taro tapioca. We also tried their osmanthus coconut milk tea and it was hard to put down it was so good. A great summer drink is the lychee dragon fruit but unfortunately they run out of tea base at night.

Stopped in at 830pm and the guy behind the counter said he couldn’t take my order. I asked if they were closing, he said they weren’t (posted close is 10pm) but he had to make other online orders and wouldn’t be able to take my order? Super bizarre experience.

This is hands down my favorite bubble tea place. Not because the people are particularly friendly but because of the pieces of real fruit in the lychee/dragon fruit and the strawberry/peach bubble tea. Sooooo yummy ?

Tru Tea is a Toronto-owned business. The store has many interesting options. I got their #3 bestseller: Honeydew jelly slush with mozza foam. The drink only came in a large and the price was over $8 (after taxes). The service was excellent.
