This fine brewery offers some really nice beers that are brewed fresh on site. Trestle tables encourage patrons to interact with one another as the world flows by on the other side of the large windows looking out onto St. Claire Avenue. On every visit staff have been friendly, warm and welcoming. Although I have yet to try the food the smells wafting from the kitchen are absolutely mouth watering! If you enjoy good beer and good company then this is the place for you. Keep up the great work!

There is only one pub of two nearby I am willing to go if I want a drink or 4 to unwind from busy work stretches. If they’re both closed I go home because nothing beats the craft &care these folks provide in their service every time! They have an amazing (and small) selection of snacks & more filling dishes, always served to consistent satisfaction & perfection. The menu changes seasonally and there is a fridge with seasonally changing options if you just want to stop by for a smile and some cans to bring home. My favorite wheat beer to date exists only on tap here, ‘there’s always money in the banana stand’ comparable to sidelaunch wheat but if sidelaunch wheat were to have birthed baby Jesus in beer form. That’s THB for you, I have been spoiled with their standards. They’re also extremely humble and they treat you like the neighbours you wish were your actual neighbours who live next door. There’s trivia nights on recent Tuesdays most weeks too!
Vegetarian options: Cheeses & olives are my fav meatless snacks ❤️ often available in the fridge to go when the kitchen is closed!
Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids of the four legged variety PLEASE!

My husband is of German descent and a real snob when it comes to alcohol but can’t get enough of the true to form European style beers on offer. We have come here many times over two or three years. The kitchen has really developed with the peach and tomato salad being the outstanding dish from our latest meal. The rösti coming a close second. It would be nice to see Viennese schnitzel on the menu and we have yet to try the döner but we will definitely be back.

My favourite new brewery in the city. The beer is great. The food is fantastic and the service is terrific. They're friendly and knowledgeable and help create such a great atmosphere. I love the whole vibe of the place from the custom wallpaper to the decorations. I'm a huge fan.
A group of us came in for some drinks and food. Everything was great, and then when a couple in our group were going to leave, a server came over and accused them of not tipping, even though they said they had. Made things really awkward and wasn’t cool. You don’t know what someone’s financial situation is, and it’s not the customers responsibility to make sure you are getting paid what you feel you deserve.
