This was one of my favorite places to try and not that hard to get to on bus! The service was super nice and I splurged on so many goods from their shop. I loved the curry bun, ramen, and tiramisu!
100% changed my mind about vegan desserts. The yuzu pie was insanely amazing. Everyone should try one thing from here you will not be disappointed.
Lovely cafe with lots of options. However, the miso caramel macchiato I ordered and the tarts I brought home were way too sweet and kill the flavour of other ingredients.

Delicious and unique Japanese specialties and western classics. Beautiful presentation, cozy atmosphere. Quick efficient and friendly service. We’ll be back!
Delicious, authentic Japanese vegan cafe. Loved it. Seating is very minimal and they don’t have any ramen spoons however

This place has amazed me ever since I discovered their pop-up at the 2024 Taste of Italy festival.
Everything I've ordered from here has been stellar, with the exception of the Hot Coco which I found to taste rather artificial.
The desserts are unique and taste remarkably fresh, as if they were made minutes earlier. Definitely something worth trying here.
The Japanese decor interior is charming, but I feel the seating arrangements could be designed a bit more orderly. The bench against the front window is diagonal to the adjacent wall (rather than perpendicular), and positions the person seated in the corner at an angle from the space in front of them, which can feel a bit awkward for them and anyone they might be seated opposite from.
Overall, this place is a plant-based gem that I'll always be glad to visit in future.

Tried their matcha mochi filled donut yesterday and my life is changed. A calming space with delicious food offerings and drink! Worth a visit for sure!
I’m always looking for new plant based cafés to explore, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this one is completely vegan after I had already settled in. The atmosphere immediately stood out, calm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. There are beautiful plants everywhere and a simple, minimal interior that feels both welcoming and inspiring. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend a quiet morning reading or catch up with a friend over coffee.
I ordered an oat latte, and it was perfectly balanced, creamy, smooth, and not too sweet. Alongside it, I tried the buckwheat chocolate cookie that was crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle with a deep chocolate flavor that paired nicely with the coffee.
Everything about the experience felt intentional, from the way the space is curated to the quality of the ingredients. It’s always exciting to find a vegan spot that focuses on flavor and comfort without being overly complicated. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone who enjoys good food and good vibes.

Tsuchi is a gem serving authentic Japanese food and drinks that are all plant based! I loved the Hojicha latte with oat milk and no sweetener - had it hot and it was delicious, earthy, nutty, smooth with smoky sweet notes. It also has low caffeine compared to matcha. I had an iced Matcha latte on another day and it was just okay…I was expecting a stronger taste of the matcha because they sell a god quality one as well but it was quite mild.
The green tea pistachio tart was so creamy and not too sweet but I couldn’t finish the entire thing in one sitting.
Their miso soup was small but divine with vegetables and very flavourful.
Would love to try their ramen next time. Or some of the other food items like the miso bread pudding.
Was also pleasantly surprised to see that they carry Hitachino Nest beers which I had in Tokyo and it was one of the best beers I’ve had - but found that it was quite pricey per beer.
The vibe is cozy. It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon and got quite noisy when there was a group sitting at a table otherwise people were pretty quiet. There is a small seating area inside, but there is additional seating to enjoy outside. I was able to a get a table inside, however, they have a sign that they don’t allow the use of laptops on the weekends so that the tables can be made available quicker which was a bit different but understandable since it’s so busy with limited seating.
When I came by on a Tuesday afternoon it was so quiet so I will probably come on a weekday next time since it’ll be quiet and can work a bit if needed.
Either way will definitely be enjoying Tsuchi’s vibe and offerings again!

This place instantly takes me back to Japan! The vibe is calm, minimal, and cozy — everything about it feels authentic. The matcha and hojicha lattes are absolutely perfect — they really know how to make them just right. The desserts are super flavorful and beautifully presented. I usually go for the quiche and one of their sweets, while my husband always gets the tiramisu (his favorite). Definitely one of those places you keep coming back to!

Had an overall good experience. Went mostly for the matcha, which is really good! Great taste/consistency (especially if you prefer matcha that is not sweet that you’re able to taste). We also got the strawberry matcha, which isn’t sweet either - the food is okay. We got the vanilla flan which was light, but a little too runny for my liking. But the blueberry cheesecake was better.

We stopped for a light lunch and were lucky to get a table. I am a sucker for vegan quiche because it’s pretty rare, so that was a must. We also had a trio of onigiri (shiitake mushroom, eggplant, and plum) and matcha tiramisu for dessert. The food was good but not great. The quiche didn’t have much flavour and was a let down. The onigiri was good. The matcha tiramisu was too much cream and not enough cake and didn’t have a strong matcha flavour. If I was in the area I would probably eat there again and try something different, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there.
Green tea pistachio tart was amazing !!!
Love the awesome tasty vegan Japanese food
