Was in the area and wanted a quick, simple meal and decided to try this place out. For the most part, we enjoyed our food. I ordered the Beef Brisket and my wife ordered the Soft Pork Bone, but as you can probably see from the photo, there wasn't much actual soft pork bone in there. We didn't inquire (but probably should've) as we did enjoy our meal the noodles in particular.

Passing by, stopped in to try it for lunch. It's an old-fashioned restaurant, but the food is okay. The taste isn't too amazing, but it's OK. The price is a little high, but it’s okay and convenient

I always get the minced pork gui lin style (#1 on the menu). It’s been my favourite for years and years. The restaurant is super nostalgic to me. A cute little tucked away restaurant. Service is great:). I don’t have anything bad to say about it.

Lamb Guilin noodle is my favourite, so delicious. If you are searching for best Chinese restaurant in Scarborough then you should give this place a try.

Classic honkong 90s restaurant, food tasty, thumb up for the rice noodles, crunchy pork feet, keeps the Cantonese vibe.

The rice noodles are okay and the service attitude is also very good.
The biggest surprises were the drinks and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was fried overnight and was very hard. The fruit in the drink has a bit of flavor…
It’s New Year’s Eve soon, so I don’t want to be too long-winded. Since you regard customers as grievances, you will never come back again. There are so many delicious foods in Toronto, where can’t you eat them?

Rather short wait time for the food being in large portions with excellent taste. Great responsiveness from the servers for wants along with solid pricing.
Parking: Abundant amount of parking as it’s in front of a plaza.

I ordered a beef brisket Laoyou Noodles. The beef brisket was very delicious, stewed with tendons until soft. Although the taste of the noodle soup is not close to the authentic Laoyou Noodles, it still tastes very good, especially when the weather is cold, a bowl of hot soup to warm your stomach is perfect!

I stumbled upon this tea restaurant by chance and went in to try it out.
The menu has something for everything, both Chinese and Western.
It seems to specialize in Guilin rice noodles.
It's a matter of personal taste. I don't like the rice noodle.
But it’s because of how strong their spicy sauce is.
The fried large intestine was a surprise. Fat enough, juicy enough, and the skin is crispy. I feel good about it.

The signature sour and spicy dry noodle is very tasty. But my wife ordered the soup noodle with BBQ pork. The pork tasted like it has been in the fridge for a few days and then had been microwaved for too long.

Was there for dinner.
The main division of the menu is either their soup noodles or their non soup dishes. HK style.
I ordered rice dishes. Lots of rice, more than the ingredients. So not a great ratio to begin with. The rice was old, in that it was hard when left out for too long and it was dried out. This also happened with the Saucier dishes that are slathered in sauce on top. So more attention needs to be put on the rice as it should be light and fluffy, not hard and clumped together.
The server initially gave us chopsticks, spoons, bowls, and napkins. When we got our included soup and the dishes started to come, the server deciced that we didn't need one of the metal spoons that was initially given and took it back. While it was unused, not very professional and not very hygienic as it was returned to the same cutlery holder it was whence taken from. That's a big faux pas!
The inside environment had fruit flies that were buzzing close to the cashier, and one of the servers was walking around with a fly swatter, swatting about. Not professional and also very unhygienic.
So safe to say, a return visit won't be happening any time soon or at all.
Kid-friendliness: Enough room to have kids wlsit down to eat. Though the tvs are a distraction to their eating as they play HK fare.

They need to be more transparent about the price for add-ons. Otherwise, the noodle soup is great
