I have visited this restaurant many times and usually enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but my most recent experience was disappointing. The portion sizes were surprisingly small given the high prices, and the staff seemed unfriendly. Despite the restaurant being half empty on a Friday night, they began cleaning while we were still dining at 9 pm, which felt unwelcoming. Sadly, this experience has changed my opinion, and I’m not sure I would return.

The food was great, fresh in house pasta and a superb burrata dish but for the price point and the variety of high quality Italian cuisine in the city, I don't think I would return. Service was sub par for the price of the food. Had to ask multiple times for water and descriptions of food was absent.

*Price reflects a meal with a bottle of wine. Reasonable $$$ for good food & wine.
Little hidden gem in the city.

Tutti Matti is a great place to share a meal & wine “Italian Family Style” … “Stile Familiare Italiano”. The food looks & tastes amazingly authentic Italian in the City of Toronto. A delicious way to enjoy a bit of everything. Did someone say homemade pasta and/or gnocchi?! Definitely will be back & will add some pics of the food.

Sorry … I forgot to take pictures of the dishes. But trust me, all beautifully plated & yummy!
This is what we shared;

crostoni di gambari
zucchini, shrimp, shallots, tarragon,
Abandoned Grove olive oil

gnocchi
white pork sausage ragu, zucchini, fennel

luca luca (pizza)
tomato, nduja, olives, honey, fior di latte

spigola
grilled European sea bass, salsa verde

white wine: Catine Lunae Bosoni Etichetta Nera Vermentino Colli di Luni

DO NOT COME HERE! Not impressed with this restaurant at all and if I could give zero stars I would! I had made a reservation on open table for my husband's birthday, and the lady did not check to make sure that I made a reservation nor did she take my name. Once we were seated, the waiter we had was kind, however he did not follow up with us when we had empty drinks at all. We have to ask for additional drinks. We had ordered a Cristoforo pizza which did not taste right and had sent it back. The waiter told us that he would take it off our bill of course and I was able to reorder something else. The chef had sent over a tiramisu dessert as a means to say sorry for the pizza. However, once we asked for our bill, the pizza was not taken off our bill! And I tried to refute this, however the waiter explained that because they had given us the dessert that it would not be taken off the bill. We had not even asked for any dessert or ordered dessert but it was given to us. I had originally booked this restaurant for my husband for his birthday and they did not even acknowledge the note that had been left on open table for this information! An hour after we had left, I recieved a call from the restaurant to my surprise. The waiter apologized and explained that we do come back and have a pizza on the house anytime as they realize they did overcharge. I'm sorry but after that experience I don't see how I could come back unless a full dinner for both my husband and I was compenesated. I'm extremely upset and would not come back here ever again! Food was mediocre and the pizza was just not right! Service was poor and unacceptable!

I recently had the pleasure of MCing a wedding that was hosted at Tutti Matti. I can't say enough about how I credible the evening was. From the staff that worked with us, the restaurant itself, and of course the food, the evening was fantastic. There wasn't a stone left unturned by Alida and her staff. Thank you to Tutti Matti for a fantastic evening. We will absolutely be coming back to enjoy lunch or dinner in the near future.

Everything went very well. I think Josh helped us out. Corkage fees aren’t low but at least they offer it. Food exquisite.

This place made me think it wasn't that I didn't like pasta, I just hadn't tried the right pasta.

Service at this restaurant was very professional. The server seemed to have a good understanding of the menu. I asked him for suggestions based on my criteria (I want carbs but I easily get full), and opted to order the ravioli and the bella spritz on his recommendation.

Food arrived very promptly. The first bite of the ravioli was impressive. I normally crave meat when I eat meals but in this case I didn't notice the absence at all. Every bite felt interesting, fresh, and full with flavour. The dish was also perfectly portioned - at first glance, I didn't think the meal would be enough, but by the time I had my last bite of ravioli, I felt like my hunger was perfectly sated without feeling overstuffed.

After devouring my ravioli, I decided to try the tiramisu. I probably should have stopped while I was ahead, I was starting to get full after my first few bites. However, the tiramisu was good - creamy, not too sweet, pretty much everything I would want from a tiramisu.

Atmosphere of this place was really nice. I'm not sure how long this place has been around but it had the vibe of an longstanding institution.

Would definitely come back if I'm ever in town again just to sample the rest of the pasta menu.

Absolutely outstanding meal, and the portionsizes were perfect! The chef gave us recommendations at our asking, and also paired a fantastic wine with the meal. I felt like I was back in Italy with a very authentic meal. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the tiramisu was perfection!

Italian food, fresh pasta made in house - ravioli were 😘 and so was the bean & Tuscan kale- not a big place, but just perfect. Would highly recommend, if you want a non franchise, small, fresh Italian food. Buonissimo!

The food experience was great. The burrata, the salad, the special bread, the pasta with the wild boar sauce, the pizza and the Tiramisu dessert were so tasty. The staff and owner were very friendly and attentive. Highly reccomend.

We went for birthday dinner, they were able to accommodate an early time. Food was well served, fresh and so tasty that we even forgot to take pictures. Got parppadelle, ravioli, and salad di montagna Dessert amazing!! Great suggestions from the waiters.

This was one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time. Everything was unique and perfectly cooked. It was a graduation dinner and they went out of their way to make it memorable.
