The “Taiwanese” popcorn chicken is literally just fried chicken there is no seasoning or basil this is an insult to Taiwan the portion is also small for 12$ you get maybe 10 pieces you might as well go to McDonald’s. The sausages that are included in the rice bowls were dry and the bowls were lacking flavour, you can skip out on the food and go elsewhere in the plaza.

Service was fine

I LOOOOOOVE TWILIGHT CAFE. Personally never played the games there yet (although I wish I would) but the atmosphere and studying there doesn't disappoint (although you do have to order something in order to stay there). I've had this like food (I forgot what it was called), but it was soooo good, I was literally trying to savour every last but of it. But would recommend if you're looking for somewhere chill to spend your day!

It's a fun, little cafe offering a large selection of drinks and foods with a good variety of board games for you to play. The food was pretty good but I wasn't a fan of the bubble tea drinks. I think it's the type of milk that's used that gives it a very fatty taste/sensation. The only decent one was the red bean matcha tea. Food portion and prices were fair around $15/order of rice and meats. You pay $6/person for 2 hours if you are playing board games or free if you are just ordering food.

It’s a popular place to play games with your friends. They do have limited seating and because it’s a board game cafe, the waiting time can get long. The game selection is pretty god and the drinks are not bad either

They no longer honour the (paid for) membership card that was supposed to last for the lifetime of the business.

They also charge a sitting fee even when you order food hourly.

I’d been a customer since the business first opened, but I’m disgusted with the new business policies.

I've been going here with my friends for 4 years. The staff are always sweet and welcoming. I can tell they always do their best if it's busy or not. The milk teas are always my go to as well. Great spot to catch up with friends even if you don’t play the games. Which I appreciate as an option! :)

There's flowers in the photo because I recently came here to celebrate Valentines day with my best friend!

Love you Twilight Cafe!!! 💗

Used to be a place for people to play board game with friend and chill for the afternoon, while having the option to buy some snack or a meal when hungry. But its no longer the case with their new 3 hour limit on board games. Ironically some board games they have would take 4 to 5 hours, but those will be probably removed after i leave this review. Although the service is pretty good. 1 star for what it used to be and 1 star for the service.

As a customer who has played here for 3 years, from weekly to once every few weeks for work, I have never been treated like this. We played here for 5 hours today and did not finish our game. Today's staff suddenly asked us to leave immediately because they had a lot of reservations. Too many reservations are definitely their own fault. As a board game store, they charge customers for their playing time and food and beverage fees, but they asked us to leave immediately? And they did not tell us in advance, such as how long they hoped we would leave, and asked us to leave immediately. If we had known that this was a board game store with a time limit for customers, we would not have chosen them.

My wife and I come here quite often. It has a really good and relaxed atmosphere. My wife loves the udon Noodle soup and the braised pork with rice. I always get their fries and orlean chicken wings. Very delicious. Their virgin pina colada is nice and refreshing. In the summer, we always get their watermelon slush, it's very thirst quenching. Overall, it's a really fun place to hang out for a few hours. The staff are very courteous and accommodating. Great place to visit again and again!

I enjoyed a decadent and plentiful 5 course meal while my friend sat there for 59 minutes waiting for a strawberry bubble waffle. We decided to leave since it's was 1:30am and we were eepy, and as we got to the counter to pay they put the plate out and said it was ready. He said "oh well I've kind of been here waiting for like an hour and a half, I need to go home" and they said "nah, only 59 minutes". But isn't that still an absurd amount of time to wait for a measly bubble waffle? Meanwhile I wrapped up my feast for the ages of takoyaki, popcorn chicken, milk tea, and even my own bubble waffle. The sad confection was packed in some decrepit sarcophagus and was entirely melted by the end of the 8 minute car ride home. Twilight Cafe? More like order your food at midnight and get it tomorrow morning.

Horrible experience. We arrived on a Friday evening as a group of three, so we expected it to be a little busy. We put our phone number down and sat down in the front waiting area. After waiting for about 45 minutes, we asked the hostess around how long the wait time would be, and she refused to give us an estimate or even a range. We left after an hour and a half after multiple tables were seated without a reservation, only because they were a bigger group than us.

The food was delicious and the service was great, but the QR codes do tend to malfunction so you’ll have to rescan it or ask for assistance. I ordered the Rose Tea and it was so refreshing! The strawberry waffle was definitely the best dessert I got there. I would definitely recommend coming here!
