Another nice Japanese ramen shop on King Street W.Tried vegan miso ramen which was tasty. Kale noodles and added egg and bamboo. Fried Root lotus are crispy. Veggie gyoza ? dumplings were ok.Overall a good experience. Thank you!

The food was very good and comes in a well served portion. They also have some Japanese beverages both alcoholic and what not. I tried the pork katsu curry and the spicy was on point. Overall a really good place to go have lunch.

A nice and cozy restaurant. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The food had arrived on a timely manner and was deliciousI ordered the Ebi Katsu and it was good. The curry was flavourful and the ebi was nicely fried. The batter was different than the usual shrimp tempura which was a nice surprise. It was much more crunchier, similar to the Korean hot dogs. My meal also came with miso soup and a salad. They were good, nothing special but a nice additional to have with the meal.Overall, it was a nice lunch spot.

Truly a hidden gem in the Liberty Village area! Despite being a noodle spot, I ended up trying the katsu as it seems to be highly rated based on other reviews.I ended up getting the donkatsu with original sauce. The katsu had a nice crispiness to it and the sauce really complimented the katsu. The portions was filling for what you get a reasonable price.Inside it’s a bit small with limited seating and has a more casual vibe with some nice display of manga and figurines on the wall. The service was really friendly! Overall, I highly recommend this place and would come back again.

Be aware that I may not the best to give an unbiased opinion about Japanese food, however as a food lover I will share my experience. We went there yesterday before going to the TFC game. We all ordered Ramen with pork and it was fresh and the flavour was good. I did have Ramen before in Chicago and was amazing so that’s the only reference that I have with Ramen. We ordered also Sapporo and was cold and nice, as a draft beer should be. We also ordered Sake and it was nice, second time having I had warm wine but yesterday I enjoyed it, the first time not so much. The service was nice the young lady helping us was good. If the place gets busier they may need extra help. Also the atmosphere is ok, they could add some decor specially to help their customers to get into Japanese ambiance I guess. Place is very simple and could be improved: I saw previous reviews from over 11 months ago and I don’t know how long this place has been opened.

This small restaurant surprises us with both the quality and quantity of food. Big portion, authentic Japanese flavor, and great service (humble, attentive, and professional staff) while being on a budget. The fried chicken in the curry dish is crunchy without being oily so highly recommended. Clean and neat setting.

Food: I had the vegan kale noodle soup. The fried lotus is something new to me, would be better with some salt or seasoning. Bamboo shoots and mushrooms tasted good and the kale noodles and seaweed were okay. The soup was a little disappointing as most ramen place the soup is the star of the dish and also because it tasted like chinese instant noodle of sesame soup(出前一丁 麻油面). Tried a friend's shoyu soup base, it was okay. The squid balls were good and didn't need to wait too long for it.Interior: there are some comics and ultraman decorations which are unique but overall it feels a bit empty.Service: they were attentive, polite and knows their menu well.If I am ever in the area would try non vegan option and update the review.Vegetarian options: There are two vegan options

Great food and friendly service. Ordered ahead of time using the Ritual App. Prices were reasonable - will likely be back!

Excellent. Had the pork loin katsu curry. And my partner had the shoyu ramen. Cute atmosphere, curry tasted like a homecooked meal. You tell a lot of care went into making the katsu. Delicious.

I loved the variety of toppings. I ordered a vegan shio ramen and edamame. Maybe they could offer a sauce for the edamame, but it was tasty just with the salt. The ramen was great, and the person who attended was kind and nice. A cool place to enjoy a japanese ramen.Vegetarian options: They have vegan ramen options.

Came here after walking by a few times and decided to give it a try. We tried the shoyu ramen and the dipping ramen. I was expecting the dipping ramen to have a thicker broth but it was about the same texture as normal broth. We also got the fried chicken which was good. The service was good but we found the broth a little on the saltier side. Price was fair

Soup was flavourful however it was on a salty side. The thick noodles were cold and expected the ramen to be abit more hot. The gyoza was spot on and added an extra egg. Another add on was the spicy paste but our server accidentally forgot as there was more customers coming in for the evening.

Good ramen spot with some really tasty food. Limited selection of dishes but the soup was nicely flavored. However, I would have preferred some wider noodles, as mine were a little too thin for my liking. The portion size is average but as with any ramen, definetly not enough to make me full, and I had to order extra noodles (be advised, I'm not a glutton it's just that ramen in general is soo small). Price is normal, although I find ramen overpriced everywhere in Canada so it's definitely on the expensive side. Service was excellent and atmosphere was good too.Parking: Downtown TO, parking is not easy at all. We rode transit.

Ultraramen was the only ramen place I could find in Liberty Village, from the outside it looks like a cafe but it's a ramen shop. I ordered the shoyu ramen, the broth wasn't super flavourful but I liked the texture of the noodles. The ambience and the service was very good, very easy and casual also the price was quite reasonable +1 point.I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend Ultramen
