We went there in Nov. There was a live insect (like a small cockroach) in my food. It was really disgusting. The manager came to our table, apologized and assured us this was the first time something like that happened and that they were not aware of any insects. Then, later when I went downstairs to the washroom, I saw a cockroach crawling in the hallway! Not sure what to believe. They also gave us a restaurant gift card, but we are not planning to go back there.

During the holiday season, I had a reservation with a friend. Our waitress was phenomenal. Efficient, personable and, thoughtful. It was very lively as there or a number of parties going on celebrating the season and the year end. Our food was excellent as was my Manhattan martini.

We came to Union Social Eatery with a big group, and Sammy-Jo was amazing. She was super organized, separated all of our bills without any issues, and still made sure everyone was taken care of.
