We went there in Nov. There was a live insect (like a small cockroach) in my food. It was really disgusting. The manager came to our table, apologized and assured us this was the first time something like that happened and that they were not aware of any insects. Then, later when I went downstairs to the washroom, I saw a cockroach crawling in the hallway! Not sure what to believe. They also gave us a restaurant gift card, but we are not planning to go back there.

We came to Union Social Eatery with a big group, and Sammy-Jo was amazing. She was super organized, separated all of our bills without any issues, and still made sure everyone was taken care of.
Union Social is always our staff go-to spot for outings the service is great, the team is friendly, and they’re always really accommodating.

My friends and I were at this location yesterday, it was AWESOME. I have been thinking to come here to eat or have drinks with friends for a long time I wasn't expecting the warmth accommodation and amazing atmosphere my friends and I will experience from a restaurant we had yesterday. It started to letting us in at 11 am for brunch instead of making us wait for another 30 minutes outside as it was cold with our Toronto weather. Then we were greeted warmly with the staff (shout out to all of you). Then Nas our server and bar tender introduce himself and even asked our names like we are all his new friends so it was very in person which I think and felt he really went above and beyond what anyone will expect from a very outstanding customer service nowadays. He informed us about the brunch menu giving us the idea and recommendation about their food. Overall service was GREAT 👍 👌 ☺️. I would definitely recommend this location to have a get together, meeting friends or family to dine and eat specially this holidays. Again Thank you to everyone see you guys again soon. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas 🎄 (Don't forget to order ABC Benedict, Breakfast Tacos, Salmon Benedict, Crispy Calamari and Pineapple Mimosas for your Brunch visit 😋, $$$ affordable and tasty delicious)
