Veal Sandwich just taste like fried chicken with standard tomato sauce in a thick bread. Overpriced for 20$
Stopped off for lunch on a Thursday half past noon. There was a line up, however, the staff rapidly processed the patrons. I went for the spaghetti and meatballs and was very pleased with my choice as the sauce was excellent. The kaiser buns with meatballs or breaded meats appeared to be the most popular. I will certainly come back to try the other offerings on the menu.
UPDATE JUNE 2025
Tried the meatball sandwich and it was pretty good. Nice meatballs and fillings. Be very careful as it's messy, yet, in a good way. Price was $16.95, a bit expensive, yet, this market attracts a lot of tourists. Nice and friendly staff.
They have the best veal sandwich in Toronto
I am regular customer. However, I’m disappointed in the parmigiana I bought today. The bread was way too soggy inside and it didn’t taste right.
This place is definitely worth a visit! We had their Godfather sandwich, and it was really good – a tasty mix of chicken parm and eggplant. It was well-made, and the portion size is generous; it's enough for two people to share, which is great. The staff were also happy to cut it in half for us. Adding some pesto gives it a nice extra touch.
The people working there were also really good – efficient, friendly, and helpful.
I’d certainly recommend it, and I'll be going back. The Godfather sandwich is a solid choice, especially if you're looking for something substantial!
I tried the Chicken and Eggplant sandwich from Mustachio, and it was absolutely BIG!😁
You can really taste the quality.
I added cheese and presto as toppings, and the flavors were spot on. Definitely one of the biggest and most satisfying sandwiches I’ve had in a long time.
Highly recommend if you’re hungry and want something delicious and filling!
I came here on a Sunday because of the vintage market and with an empty stomach and I still couldn't finish the sandwich and it must've weighted at least 5lbs with all the toppings they loaded.
I was only able to eat half and save the rest for dinner. Good food but a bit messy so avoid wearing your nice clothes if you don't want to make the same mistake as me but that's on me.
Will have to try the rest of the items on their menu.
Delicious !!
Been coming here for 16 years, easily the best chicken parm sandwich in the city

Based on St Lawrence Market. Always seemed busy so thought I'd give it a try.
Went for the Grandfather Veal parmigiana and eggplant sandwich. Pretty tasty. Flavors mixed well. Right amount of tasty sauce. Was not too messy to eat. Was expecting some punchier flavor. Will get the jalapenos added, which was offered but I opted not to have. Regret.

OMG I had the fully loaded veal on a bun and it was a piece of heaven right there! It's huge, hearty and oh, so FULL of incredible flavours. I had no idea this place existed but now I'm telling ALL my Toronto friends. Absolutely divine!!♥♥♥♥ And the staff are great, funny, helpful and friendly. 10/10 hands down!

The place is in a corner, with few chairs to sit.
The pasta with meatballs was great!
The sandwich was not really as good as I expected. The eggplant is breaded, as well as the chicken, between two walls of bread. A bit too much bread for me. Marinara sauce got lost right away in all that breadness. Roasted peppers were really good.
Vegetarian options: There is a sandwitch with no meats.
Kid-friendliness: Ok for infants

What happened to this place? It used to be sooooo good. Now it’s $20 for eggplant parm that’s dry and chewy, not nearly as many slices as before, two mushrooms two peppers and no sauce. So dry and chewy. I’m so sad, maybe they were having an off day, but I was really looking forward to this sandwich and it was awful this time.
