I was next door for a 5 day training program and I checked this place out on the first day - I got the lemon mustard baked chicken thighs with roasted veggies. And my goodness…it was absolutely delicious. It was both lemony and sweet, and paired so well with the potatoes and veggies. The serving size was great and It was such a healthy, well balanced meal. It was bone-in, skin-on so it was extra juicy, and the skin was crispy and seared perfectly. I went back to get it the next day, but they changed some of the menu items throughout the week, which was nice too!
But I haven’t stopped thinking about that lemon mustard chicken thigh dish. Since I’m barely in that area, I found a recipe online and hope it tastes at least half as good as the one at Urban Fare 😆🤞

Ordered food for catering... The salmon was disgusting. I could not even eat the whole piece. The soup noodles were disgusting, the soup and the meatballs were the only things that were good about this meal. Everything else was just horrid..
For paying so much money for catering you would expect good food. It used to be really good but now its just awful.
(edit just found out the soup broth wasnt even from urban fare it was home made LOL)

Excellent food. The meatball and sauce stopped me in my tracks. The side of pad thai was also very good and tasted fresh. My boyfriend enjoyed the chicken parm sandwich. I had an iced coffee with cinnamon syrup that was so good. The service was so friendly, patient and excellent. Fair prices. I would absolutely recommend stopping here.

I have loved this place for years. Mostly because their food is amazing every time. One thing though, if you are in the north ends of the city, they charge a lot for delivery (more than necessary) So pick up is your only option. Not great especially if it's a huge order & you haver mobility issues. But overall, always pleased with their food. Tasty, innovative and appealing!

Truly a hidden gem. Had both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner catered by Urban Fare. Amazing tasty food and sizeable portions, overall super value!! And the best part was not having to slave in the kitchen - perfect for busy families. Their frozen prepared dishes are awesome too, the turkey pot pie was moist and succulent. Will definitely be ordering from here again and again!

From start to finish I felt that the whole team was on top of things and were communicative, personable, and professional (but with heart). We were looking for a menu that met vegetarian and vegan needs that was also eco-friendly in packaging and they were so accommodating, and the menu they curated and delivered on was superb. We had several attendees take pictures of the branded napkins and ask about the catering because the food was THAT good. Can't recommend them enough!
