Ambion & service was great, however food was below average... There is real need to improve the quality!
Ordered twice, both times the food wasn’t ready at the promised time. The first order was completely wrong, with non-vegetarian items in a vegetarian order and food that smelled off. Tried again hoping it was a one-off issue, but the same delay happened. Poor service and unreliable experience.

Good place with nice food
The portion size is less compared to other restaurants but good taste.
Overall food gets 9 out of 10
Had an excellent dining experience! The salt and pepper prawns were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of spice, bursting with flavor in every bite. The Hakka fried rice was equally impressive — well-seasoned, aromatic, and packed with fresh ingredients. Great taste, quick service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Bombay Chicken gravy was saucy, but still tasted good

I recently did a takeout from Urban Hakka. The food was packed neatly, arrived hot, and smelled incredible right out of the bag. We ordered the Bombay Chicken and Veggie Manchurian, and both dishes were bursting with authentic Indo-Chinese flavours. The Bombay Chicken had that perfect balance of spice and tang, with tender pieces cooked just right. The Veggie Manchurian was rich, saucy, and full of texture. Every bite felt like comfort food done right.
Even though it was takeout, the quality was consistent. The sauces were perfectly balanced, not too oily or heavy. The portion sizes were not very generous but exceeded our expectations for takeout quality.
Overall, the experience was decent — food quality was good, quantity was okay, and flavours were enjoyable. One small tip: ask them to customize your order to your taste, as sometimes the food can be a bit on the salty or spicy side. Still, Urban Hakka remains a reliable choice for tasty, satisfying takeout.

Pretty good spot for halal hakkah food at really great prices. Central Toronto location. Returned to this place agree many years and it's good. The restaurant is quite roomy and u can find street parking in the front and paid green p parking in the back. Tried a few items including the Manchurian chicken which was good but get the spicy, the sesame crispy beef which was quite yummy but a little bit on the sweet side. Finally got the hakkah tandoori chicken and while that was unique it was a bit too salty. Overall pretty good. The prices are excellent.
