Since it opened, Utsav has been one of my go-to places for amazing Indian food in Toronto. But the Suresh and the staff are what really makes it feel like going home.

The food quality was excellent, and the service was good overall, but there were a few disappointments. Our waiter was unavailable, so another server took over and got our second order wrong. When we called our waiter to address it, he confirmed the mistake but didn't offer to replace the dish on the house, which felt like poor service. Instead, we were asked if we wanted to reorder the correct dish, which seemed inconsiderate. Additionally, the dishes lacked enough paneer or chicken, with too much sauce instead. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but it was still hard to get the waitstaff's attention as they seemed preoccupied at the counter. On the positive side, we appreciated not being rushed and were able to enjoy our meal from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Despite the hiccups, the food was top-notch.

We have ordered meat and Nan with rice and it was good and chili 🌶️😅 but we like chili food but honestly I expected more and get less
