Great vibes, great food, lovely chef! Loved it and highly recommend.
I’ve been frequenting this establishment for many years and have always enjoyed the food and service. I’ve also had them cater an event of mine and my guests have enjoyed their food and creativity as well! Highly recommend!
If you're looking for incredible Jamaican-style vegan food in Kensington, this is the place to go.
Veggie D’Light is known for their outstanding homemade vegan soup and roti—flavorful, nourishing, and truly comforting. Not only are you enjoying delicious food, but you're also supporting a wonderful locally owned business.
They offer cozy indoor seating and a selection of cold drinks, making it a popular spot among locals. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Amazing and very tasty
Closed almost everyday is outrageous
Love the pizza cake!
Best food I had in a while! Healthy and vegan. Loved the Jamaican taste. The soup is to die for. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
A lovely, calm, space with delicious food and plenty of seating for the market area. Even chess boards on the tables. Very earthy and the owner is great. I had the lentil soup (so rich and full or flavor), you can't go wrong!
Tastes really good and the service is as great! I will come back
Absolutely incredible. Not a vegan but loved it. All vegan food should be like this. Plentiful and delicious and satisfying. Get the roti with all the proteins mixed together, it's great.

Ordered the honey hot chicken wings, they are amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
I wish they were open more than 3 days a week!
Exceptional service with the kindest, most attentive staff! I ordered a mix of everything for $15, and it was hands down the best value for money. Highly recommend!
I will NEVER set foot in this place again. The owner, Peter (I think), is downright condescending and rude. What used to be a decent spot with good food and fair portions has gone completely downhill. The food quality has seriously declined — bland, poorly cooked, and not worth the price.
But what really pushed me over the edge was the awful customer service. Blank stares, unfriendly attitudes, and an overall dismissive vibe made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating. As a paying customer, I expect basic respect — clearly too much to ask here. I’m done giving this place chances. Never again.
This is a gem ?
Well worth and staff are helpful with suggestions if you're not quite sure what to get. Oh and make sure to pock up one of them pepper sauce.
