Wow. Truly a 10/10 experience. From the food, to the staff, to the atmosphere, everything here is so warm and homey. Yes, the food was delicious and everyone left full and happy and excited to come back and try more. But the people were so welcoming with such joyful energy, that it really spilled over to every table. Lots of laughter and warmth. And somehow the decor/atmosphere was both cozy and classy. I will definitely be returning and I've already recommended it to other people too.

As soon as we walked into the the front doors, we were pleasantly greeted with warm smiles and abundant hospitality. Our server, Carlos greeted us with his genuine, radiant personality. All the specials he read to us with vibrant passion. Mary was radiant and full of smiles and provided the history of the establishment and the bread they're known for. And Gino was the cherry on top. He is genuine, charming and passionate about all meals produced, the decor of the restaurant and his daily process of preparing sauce for the following day. All in all, our experience at Venga Cucina was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
It was all love.

The food was disappointing for an Italian restaurant, especially given the high prices. The pizza tasted worse than frozen pizza, which was especially surprising. Even at half the cost, the food wouldn’t feel worth it. The restaurant itself is nicely designed and the service was pleasant, but overall the quality of the food just doesn’t match the price.

Venga Cucina is an absolute hidden gem. The service here is outstanding! Amir is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and makes you feel right at home. You can tell he truly cares about creating the best experience.
And the pizza… hands down the BEST in Canada! 🍕 The dough takes 3 days to prepare, and you can taste the love and craftsmanship in every bite. Perfectly crisp, flavorful, and unlike anything else I’ve tried.

If you live in the Junction you're lucky. If not, make your way to Toronto's original and only Certified Pinsaria. The authenticity and originality of Master Gino's Pinsa Romana creations will surprise and delight, and perhaps forget about traditional pizza. The hours of effort in preparation is testament to the love and passion of Gino's creations. You will experience every distinct Italian region, from Northern cuisine to the South. The atmosphere and the always professional and personable staff will welcome you to LA FAMIGLIA and make your experience memorable. Congratulazioni Gino and Mary for your achievement and future success! Grazie.

This place is a hidden gem. Known for their pinsa with the flour straight from Italy.
We loved our time there, and in short, the experience and food were phenomenal.

The food, service and chef and host are wonderful here. It's na great addition to the Junction. No loud music so you can have a conversation easily over wine and great food!

Top spot. One of the best Italian spots I’ve had in the city. They have a nice patio too. Service was warm and friendly and well acquainted with the Menu. The only reason I’m taking a star off the atmosphere was because it was loud with humdrum of people talking (I was hungover though so my tolerance may have been lower than normal).
