This review is based on my cappuccino only. I really hate to give a negative review but whyyy is it so hard to find a good cappuccino in this city?! I paid almost $5 for a BARELY lukewarm cup of milk with a whisper of coffee and zero foam. Might as well have gently microwaved an instant coffee at home for free instead 😩

My review is solely on the matcha latte. My first and last visit. I never had a matcha latte that was so lumpy and unpleasant to drink. When I was half way through the drink, it was mouthful of matcha powder that wasn’t sifted properly?

Terrible service. 2 coffees and 1 danish is $14, but the issue is that I asked for the danish to be warmed and she said "the grill is in use" WHAT?! Pastries sitting out all day and hard can't be warmed up at 10AM yikes. Would not return nor recommend to others.

The place is impeccable, the food and the coffee are amazing and the staff is very very nice. I went there everyday for the two days I stayed in Toronto. There's a nice terrace outside and some quiet space inside.
Good tasty beans, polite & welcoming staff, they have been making consistent outstanding cup of coffee for long years. Their chocolatine is very decent.
They have listened and extended working hours, have plenty of space now with outside tables available, quite extensive menu. Versus is truly a spot to visit!

Versus is definitely the best coffee shop in the area! The staff is always friendly and they know what I want every time I visit. The goodies are always fresh. I usually come there really late after work and I get their cheddar scone which is still amazing! Hopefully I get a chance to try them when they are fresh, first thing in the morning!😍 I highly recommend to visit Versus and try everything 🥹✨
