Food was very tasty and high quality. The overall dining experience was great somehow the serving speed was a bit slow between main and appetizers.
We had a superb meal at Punch; we have not experienced food like this in Toronto — a unique blend of Indian and British flavours. The Scotch Egg, Mumbai Chat-Slaw, Mishkaki and the Eton Mess were stand-outs. The atmosphere is sophisticated and the service is excellent.
Beautiful restaurant with excellent drinks and creative menu. The Beef Wellington is a must as is the sticky toffee. Definitely would go back again to try other things on the menu.
It took awhile for us to get any service after sitting down. More than 10 minutes passed before we got water. But once our waitress identified herself, it was warm and attentive from that point onwards. The noise level was at times unbearable, the music choices between tolerable to unsuitable for the space. Since the acoustic design was not optimal, I think if they lower the volume, it will be a lot more pleasant. For the whole duration of the dinner, we had to shout in order to hear each other. We loved the Slaw, the Scotch egg, Beef wellington, and Biriyani. Not too too impressed with the butter chicken pot pie. It was a bit too sweet and not enough masala for us. We all loved the Orange sphere dessert. I was the only person who enjoyed the Chai-chocolate mousse, my companions had one bite each, and didn't touch it again. Overall I am willing to come back and try some other items on the menu. Hopefully the music volume is at a better level.
Exceptional experience! From the friendly staff to the fantastic food! You cannot go wrong
Sheldon was great - really friendly. Dined with colleagues and wanted somewhere quiet - this is a great place. Food was very refined & tasty- liked the influence of Indian flavors but not overt. Scone souvenirs were a nice touch. Loved the chicken biryani and the grilled sea bream, and samosas. Beef wellington was cooked perfectly. Shrimp dish was just okay. Would love more glass options for wine but it's pretty standard for Toronto restaurants. Only negative is the prices are quite high for the portion size but it could very well be the location & the brand they want to convey.
This is an incredibly good new spot with amazing food, vibey music. It is a new gem and should be highly recommended to anyone. The English and Indian fusion is unreal the beef wellington is exceptional.
I'm honestly disappointed to be writing this review because this restaurant has so much potential, but the experience fell short in too many ways. First, the arrival was awkward. We were brought in through the inside, squeezing between two tables of people who were already eating. There was no hostess and no proper waiting area, so we had to walk through the entire restaurant just to reach what seemed like the actual entrance. Right from the start, it felt disorganized. The ambiance had its highs and lows. At times, the lounge-style hype music created a cool, modern vibe. But then, without warning, it would switch to trance techno—completely out of place and honestly jarring. It didn't match the atmosphere or décor at all, making the vibe feel inconsistent and a bit confused. Food-wise, the appetizers were the highlight. The ceviche and tartare were flavourful, with a nice Indian-inspired twist, and enough to share between the three of us. But the mains... that's where things went downhill. Prices are high for the portions you get. The butter chicken pot pie was honestly a joke—the sauce got completely absorbed into the pastry, leaving the chicken dry and tasting like an afterthought. The beef Wellington was served in two pieces even though we were a party of three. Why not ask us our preferred quantity or adjust accordingly? And while we're at it, asking for spice level preferences would've made a world of difference. Desserts were good but nothing memorable or original. But the absolute worst part—and truly shocking—was the bathroom situation. A single, tiny, cheap-looking bathroom that feels like it cost $10 to build. It completely clashes with the “high-end” experience they're trying to offer and genuinely kills the mood. It felt like all the budget went into the main room and nothing was left for basic customer comfort. This restaurant could be something great, but they need to step it up ASAP if they want to maintain any sort of stature next to places like Nobu,
Had a fantastic evening dining in with a friend. It was our first time and it definitely won't be my last. The service was exceptional, servers took time to explain all the ingredients and dishes, recommended a few things. WE got a few appetizers and mains and it was excellent, the skeers, the jumbo shrimp were incredible, an the pulao rice side too. When it came to dessert we couldn't decide on which one to get and decide for the Eton Mess, I really recommend trying this one if you're in to something different. But to our surprise they treated us the Gulab jamon as well on the house, which was amazing. We thought the meal peaked at the main course but dessert kept going. The chef also sent out some chai tea's which were delicious as well. I'll certainly be telling friends to visit and coming back myself. But aside from that the staff really seem to care, the floor manager stopped by many times to see how we are. The level of care on cleaning the table, refilling water and asking about drinks was perfect. AS someone that dines at many places, it's hard to find good service and I think the staff here should be proud that they hit it out of the park. TDLR: Highly recommended!
Excellent service. The knowledge and attentiveness of our server was outstanding. All of the staff were friendly. The ambiance was warm and classy. The food was absolutely delicious!! It was our first time and it will definitely not be the last. My friends and I go out often and this place was definitely one of our favourites.

Visited Punch with high expectations, but unfortunately, it fell short. Portions were tiny for the price point, and the flavors were underwheening. One dish was overpoweringly bitter, which was a major letdown.
The bar staff was top notch! Sat at the bar for dinner and took in the vibe. Great atmosphere will be back with my people's
Our outstanding server Josh curated our exceptional dining experience from divine appetizers to rich entrees and next level deserts. The food and xoxktails were unique, flavorful and delicious. The ambiance is regal and enjoyable. We highly recommend it!
We were warmly greeted when we arrived. Our coats were checked in and we were seated. The room is absolutely stunning. Our waiter was one of the best we've had. He made our evening magical. I'm sorry I forgot his name. We shared the chaat salad and samosas to start. Then we moved to the mains of shrimp and chicken biryani. The waiter served each course one at a time and we enjoyed a bottle of wine with our meal. We felt very special, our food was excellent. Thank you Punch for a great dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant I'm also sure it will be difficult to get in so reserve now.
Food and drinks were amazing - the steak tartare, Mumbai chat slaw and beef wellington were must try's! The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was to die for!!
