We tried the deli chicken salad and it was too delicious to pause for a picture 🥲 The twist ice cream mix was also as delicious as the deli. Must try!

This was so gas. Chicken salad was honestly one of the best I’ve had—super saucy, flavourful, and the pickles cut through the saltiness in the best way. Definitely recommend getting it melted, it just hits different. Portion is pretty small though so don’t come starving, but flavour-wise, it was fire.

Been wanting to check out Vilda's for a while now for their reputation for great sandwiches and they did not disappoint. Tried their Caesaroni sandwich and it was about as picturesque and well balanced a sandwich as you'd want. Will definitely be back again, and have been told to get their soft serve.

Sandwiches were good, but the ice cream was the star of the show!

Honestly I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was def a waste of money. I paid $20, and I’m not sure if this is canned chicken or real chicken but it was mostly mayonnaise, that’s all I tasted!! For the price, the size was deceiving in photos. It’s pretty much a burger bun.
If you do come here I’d try the Cesaroni, and it costs less , $15. I’m wishing I got that instead :(
The staff was nice though. But I wasn’t impressed by the food.

The Bredgy stamp of approval is returning to eat for a second time, starting with an inventive panzerotti in a sandwich form, with a gooey cheese pull that is contrasted with a tangy tomato sauce, crisp Caesar salad, fluffy sesame bun, and savory beef salami (for you halal folks).

The deli chicken salad brings a richer and creamy flavour profile, Where moist pieces of chicken are shredded and mixed with a fulfilling mayo and dijon mix. The sprouts and arugula bring a touch of bitterness and a crisp freshness, and the pickles bring a mild kick of brininess to balance the mayo, with an extra quarter of a pickle served on the side too.

Cute spot, we really wanted to like it but unfortunately it did not hit the mark for us. We tried the carrot and the chicken sandwiches, they both had very nice elements but the chicken salad mix was too salty and the carrot is missing a crunch or a nice bright veggie like a pickled onion or something to give it more character.

My boss bought lunch for the team from here, and let me just say this is the absolute best lunch ive been provided with on a job site, ever!

We split some sandwiches, ceaseroni and chicken salad both delightful. Great fresh toppings

Also had the opportunity to try a bunch of the salads. Potato salad with the fresh dill, grainy mustard and capers really tickled my fancy! Super delicious.

Roast beats with the crispy chillies and onion also on point

Couscous, green peas and asparagus was so light and refreshing on a hot sunny day

Seriously, everything I was so lucky to try was incredible, I can't wait to come check it out in person myself

Lovely sandwich place! Great service, delicious and unique sandwiches and salads, cute interior and exterior seating. A bit priced on the higher end for the portion size and can be quite heavy (especially the Caesaroni), but worth to check out with friends if Badialdi’s has a long line!

Love the salads here too, they are all rotational and taste amazing. Got the asparagus couscous, roast broccoli chili crisp lemon aioli kale, and sampled the potato salad.

I love this place so much I legitimately debate unfollowing them from Instagram once a week to refrain from spending all my money on their delish rotating specials

All their sammies/salads are incredible but the deli chicken and lemon chili brassica are lunchtime staples

It gets (rightfully) quite busy during the lunch rush but the lovely staff are super speedy and will reward your patience with some of the best nosh around

Cannot recommend highly enough :)

Vilda’s is a great little spot to grab a sandwich, a soft serve, and embrace the classic general store ambiance. The staff are friendly, and the vibes are great. The soft serve is probably the best in the city with unique flavours. The Caesaroni sandwich is yummy, and the prices, are pretty reasonable.

Had been on our list to try for a long while. My wife and I got two sandwiches and shared half of each - we both agreed the chicken salad sandwich was excellent, but that the caesaroni was incredibly disappointing. The sandwich we had heard Vilda’s was most known for! Lacking in Caesar dressing and a small portion for the price - felt more like a spicy pepperoni sandwich with some mixed greens.

Too bad. Another sandwich crossed off the list.

NOTE - would give this 3.5 stars if I could to acknowledge the tastiness of the chicken salad.
