Great pub and awesome ambiance. Spaces throughout for everyone, lounge, bar, pool table downstairs. Great spot. The drinks were great, plenty of variety and affordable. The service was not great, the host was good but our server made us feel more like an inconvenience than guests. We ordered a few rounds of drinks and fries and were met with a sigh each time we did. Not a welcoming feeling but other than service a great spot for a night out.

Walrus Pub was the perfect venue for my client's company holiday party! We utilized the lower level pub space that was equipped with 2 pool tables, a shuffleboard table, and plenty of space for dancing and mingling. The atmosphere was lively and the staff allowed us to adorn the space with our own holiday decor so it looked fantastic! Food and drink were 10/10 – we've received nothing but positive feedback from our attendees.

I wanted to leave a review after going here for the first time on December 5th. I had made a reservation for 6:00pm. My party and I arrived for that time and it was packed, evidentially with holiday parties. They let us know it might be a couple minutes to get the table which was not a problem. In total we waited 12 extra minutes. During that time 3 different hostesses apologized and kept us up to speed with progress. Once we were seated the manager came over and offered us some appetizers on the house for the wait. Very unexpected and not needed but absolutely appreciated. Just wanted to shout-out the wonderful service which is becoming more and more rare in today's day and age.
We had our work christmas party here. The place is great. The food, the service and the atmosphere are all 100 percent.

Usually whenever I visit Walrus the service is solid and I have a wonderful time.
Today I ordered 2 pints of Guinness and I informed the bartender that I don’t have a tab and want to settle for the beers, there was still 9 minutes till happy hour ended. The bartender who took my order poured the 2 beers and they sat there under the tap for 3 minutes prior to the 5pm cutoff. She waited till exactly 5pm to enter in the bill into the system and bring it over for payment along with the beers. I ordered the beer prior to cutoff and informed her that I ordered it prior to cutoff, however she said it was past 5pm now.
I know the bar was busy and she had to attend to other customers as well, but I’ve never been to a single bar that has waited till after happy hour ends to enter in the charges. This was extremely unprofessional of the bartender and I will no longer be entertaining guests at Walrus going forward.

Excellently decorated cocktail lounge. Staff where vary polite and honest. ( Angelica showed amazing focus on providing superior service.) Friendly staff all around on dec, 4 2024. Best part was when I got to talk to Nana, he listen very closely, even though he had other dutys to fulfill and while keeping a balanced work place in check. Overall one of the most energetic spots in T-Dot 😉....I will be sharing this gem with colleagues and peers. So glad to have enjoy this place. Thanks sincerely Alex. C

If you're a fan of fish and chips, I have to say that The Walrus has a spectacular dish. I especially loved the presentation on their shoe string fries! I had the pleasure of meeting up with my good friend Mr. Tim, and we had a blast catching up on old times and old friends. This restaurant and bar is located right in the heart of the financial district, so it is a bit pricey but worth it. If you're ever in the area, it's an amazing spot, and the staff are extremely friendly. I can't wait to come back and try something new!

Food was great. Drinks are so good. Every team member looks great. However, service was okay. She didn’t seem enthusiastic towards us. Maybe its coz our order wasn’t as grand as the rest of the customers? Or could be a long day? I can only assume. That doesn’t mean that we’re not going back but if we will, we hope to get a better than Okay service.
