During an adventure to find some good eats with my friend Lief, we ended up at Wang Lang on King Street, right next to The Wheat Sheaf Tavern (love that place).

It's a cool place, with much more to offer than meets the eye. The interior is spacious and has a great atmosphere. It's definitely worth visiting on a busy Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night. I had the pad Thai, which is always one of my go-to dishes, especially at a Thai restaurant. It didn't disappoint. I was truly happy and could have eaten a second helping right then and there, but more adventures await.

The best Thai restaurant in the city, though their signature dish is Boat Noodles, I’ve had about half of their menu and haven’t been disappointed with anything. Each dish is so full of flavour, with my favourites being the Lemongrass salad, Pomelo salad, and their Khao Soi. The fried baby shrimp and Green Curry are also phenomenal.

This place is really great!

Really liked the pork jowl dish with the sweet and spicy sauce on top. The fried baby shrimp looked like a much bigger portion in pictures online than it came in real life (like a cup size). Pad thai was good but a small portion - would say it was 2/3 the size of Pai’s. Service was hard to get, maybe because there was only one server on a sunday during lunch.

The best thai food in Toronto. Taste exactly the same as the one I had in Bkk. Highly recommend. Their pad see ew is the best! Their frog leg is to die for!

Cool spot, one of the better Thai places in the area but the Khao Soi and Green Curry were underwhelming compared to other Thai places downtown.
Quality of meat, quantity and presentation could be improved.

Very happy with the food and dessert here. The mango sticky rice on the coconut buns (4 pcs) are a must. The wagyu boat noodles were good, though would have liked more soup. Stuffed squid were fun and delicious, and salmon salad was very spicy (even though we got the mildest option ?) but very tasty. Already got takeout again 2d after coming here for dine in. Possibly my new favorite thai place in toronto!

Let me start with the service - I had an amazing experience from Wine who was very sweet, bubbly and her personality was also so sweet . She spoke about the dishes to give us more information. I am in love with the Shrimp fritters ????? and also Tiew Ruer Wagyu was really delicious with the Wagyu beef ✨

Good taste of thai food but there isn't a wide variety of dishes. The service was average, the restaurant has a nice vibe, prices are reasonable. Dessert was just okay.

Really fun place to eat and hang. Very energetic vibe and of course the food, I was very impressed. Perhaps it catered to my taste but I definitely will be back to try the other items on the menu. My fave was the baby shrimp fritters. I could have eaten the entire plate! So good. A must try. The coconut mango sticky rice is also a must order! I would suggest making a reservation to ensure a table!
