a very unique sweet jelly traditional Chinese cake that is made with both fresh water chestnuts and water chestnut flour. It's not totally a jelly though it has the translucent characteristics of jelly when hot. And it's not really a cake at all either. Its texture is harder than jelly and it's not too sweet and there is the wonderful crunchy fresh sweetness of the water chestnut bits.

The oxtail soup noodle tasted so good! The signature stone mill rice rolls were fantastic but next time I’m gonna try their classic independent flavor rice rolls! The fried dumplings were mediocre as the taste and the portion were both not very impressive. The vibe was very old Cantonese style restaurant. I’ll make an immediate renovation here if I am the business owner. :)

I am glad that they open early - we were able to eat breakfast before heading over to the mall, across the parking lot. Overall, the main food was really good - the congee and noodles. We ordered some rice crepe and it isn't the exact texture that we like - we like the skin thinner and lighter, but what we got wasn't awful. I wish we came back here for lunch or dinner to try more dishes because there were a lot of delicious-sounding dishes on their menu. Next time we...

Overall enjoyed the meal. Tried some of the clay pot rice, one of the noodle soups, and the pan fried dumplings. I'd say this place does each of those things decently well, but not as well as places that specialize in these types of dishes (for example, Sang Ji Fried Bao does the fried Bao better). Decent for the variety though. Staff here were very kind to my elderly father which I greatly appreciated.
