Had a cardamom latte which was delicious, and the order for my high maintenance guest was made to perfection. The best part however was the barista who was warm and patient. When a homeless woman came in, she treated her with compassion and dignity as she gave her a coffee - as if she was an regular, affluent Yorkville client. Heartwarming to see.

A consistently good latte and at $4.20 it is also a more reasonable option in the area. I also like that they’re open in the morning for a post-workout drink! They also sell some baked goods, snacks and drinks like Greenhouse juices. The have places to sit with USB charging ports.

It is so uplifting to go grocery shopping in such a wonderful store. Clean, well stocked and great service. I love their vitamin department and find the staff to be so knowledgeable. Really appreciate how they are handling this challenging time... With gratitude, ?Rosemarie Taylor

Got a cold brew there. It tasted alright. But the cup leaked everytime I took a sip. Their iced cup lids don't fit well. Would've preferred not to wear half my coffee. Don't recommend it unless you're wearing a waterproof poncho you don't mind getting coffee all over. Really made that afternoon less pleasant.

As a huge juice/smoothie fan, having worked at a similar bar back in Australia for a number of years with epic enthusiasm I was a bit underwhelmed by my experience here. Sure the place was clean and the Apple Ginger Zip would have put a spring in my step had the bloke in the purple beanie serving me not been a real wet blanket. From the moment I entered, to having my order taken/presented and to the moment I left, he did not smile once. Thought maybe it was me, but the other 5 customers who came in after me didn’t get a smile either. He just looked like even hell would have been a better place to be on a Saturday afternoon. Sure, the guy might have some personal stuff going on or whatever, I don’t know, but it brought the vibe in the crashing down around my ankles and in a Canadian winter that’s the opposite of what I want buying an innocent refreshment. Cheer up son, life’s not that bad.
