Food is really great for a pub, steak and fries are amazing! Wings are decent too! They have live music and trivia nights, it’s super wholesome, the vibe really makes you forget you’re on Bloor, but rather in the countryside, somewhere with green hills, surrounded by real people and comforting food. The outdoor patio is also adorable! The entrance and bathrooms are a little tight but it’s part of the atmosphere! Will definitely come back!

Amazing place to grab a bite and a drink. Great selection of local craft brews and some key standard drafts. Excellent food, particularly the spicy chicken sandwich. Staff is always on point, friendly, and attentive. Live band every Wednesday night which draws a crowd, well worth catching.

Good food with lovely service
Absolutely adorable bar with lots of charme and space on 2 floors. The service was incredibly amazing and we enjoyed the cute backyard patio. 1000% recommend.

Live music 🎶 Wednesdays at 8! Great back patio that’s like an adult treehouse 🌳
We sat with our dog on the front patio, got a great service and amazing food.
There are a lot of Irish pubs in Toronto but this one will make you believe you're really in Ireland. They also host a lot of music, including traditional Irish and bluegrass sessions
Stopped by for a pint on a long walk. Bartender was great and the atmosphere phenomenal. Would for sure go back for a meal.

Awesome, cozy neighborhood pub that I'm tempted to keep to myself with how enjoyable the environment is. Even for a first visit, there's a fun sense of family with the added bonus of bands, trivia, and well priced beer and food.
Mac and cheese is a must try!

Upstairs on Tuesdays is always a lovely time. Check the schedule for livelier fiddle music if that's your thing, it may be posted on the board. Also be here for st. Patrick's day =)
I doubt there is a person named Whelan that runs this place but I wish there was - regardless, Whelan should know that the two servers that we had were probably the best I've ever had in Toronto. My tables drinks were never empty and they were super professional. Whelan should know that these guys are making you tons of money and keeping a whole room full of people very happy. Great place, great food but lets be honest all of it suffers if there isn't great service.
