Used to be one of the best spots for cheap drinks. Not any more. Seeing the pictures of what the menu prices used to be just makes me sad. Will not go again unless old prices come back. Its a rip off now.

Inconsistent at best. Used to be a regular, but its mostly Jays/Leafs fans being rowdy. It feels like a hostile atmosphere if you arent into sports/hockey hooliganism. Plenty of other places to get $9 beers

Weird place. Very inconsistent service. You can either be yelled at or kicked out for no reason one day or have a good night the other. Patrons are aggro. For diluted beer and questionable shots I’d say to go somewhere else.

Amazing place. Very helpful doorman. Refused entry to some guy with his ugly girlfriend. Guy was clearly drunk and his girl looked like a linebacker w a wig on. Would recommend. Great atmosphere.
Bouncer liked my girl-friend. Let his ego get in the way of his job. Trying to act like a main character. Just scan the ID bro

I’ve been coming to the wide open for 8 years. Has always been my favourite bar in the city, I recommend it to any visitors I’ve ever had. But prices have gone out of control, $28 for a pitcher of light beer?! One of the most expensive pubs downtown at that price.
