Very slow service for food (no sauces/kinda dry) I had high hopes which unfortunately didn’t pan out. It took 30 minutes for a simple croissant breakfast sandwich, but there was 0 line. Expensive for what it is.
This is a great place to grab a coffee and a quick bite. Especially early in the morning on Bloor Street when very few things are open early in the morning . In the afternoon it is always buzzing with activity. This is truly become An important community coffee shop

I didn’t eat here. The coffee is very good. They make coffee for the soul here, as advertised. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is hip. If you’re feeling run down, order the Flu Buster tea.

Drinks, food, and service are all amazing!! As a tea drinker, I love their extensive and diverse tea list. Their menu, while limited, is all delicious, healthy(ish), and clearly homemade. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of energizing and upbeat vibes, but also chill enough to get work done. Wildhearts is def a hidden gem in the Annex that I will keep coming back to!

Rude and unwelcoming barista. Seemed like a cute spot in my neighbourhood to get a drink, however my first experience was lacking. Came in around 2:50pm today. The person who served me was sweet but the blonde girl who made my drink was rude and unsanitary. After she put my drink down at the end to pick up, she picked up a (used) glass next to it but dropped it by accident and some of whatever was left in it splashed into my drink, which I told her. She said she “could” re-make it, to which I said yes please, but said nothing to me and just dropped the drink down. I left feeling awkward after I thanked her for making it again. Now that I’m sipping my drink, there’s barely any matcha in here and it seems gritty like it wasn’t made properly. Honestly this was a very disappointing experience and now I regret tipping, which I normally love to do for my fellow people working in the service industry. I feel that she was upset she had to re-make my drink, which I’m throwing out after 3 sips because it is indeed watered down. Not hard to tell with a matcha latte.
I won’t be returning as there are more promising cafes in this area that are welcoming to people of all walks of life. After reading other negative reviews from brown and black people who have dined here, I’m not surprised my experience went the way it did.
I could tell you guys to do better, but I highly doubt that would change anything.

Quite a disappointing experience. First of all, there's no waiting in tables, however, you're expected to tip at least 18% when placing the order with the cashier. Food menu is limited, not everything was available. I paid for the options they did offer me only to be notified later that what I had ordered and paid for was not also not available. So, if you're hungry and in a rush this is definitely not the place to visit. Bill was over $36 for two lattes, a soup, and a sandwich.

Hidden Gem
Wildhearts is truly a hidden gem. It's my go-to coffee spot for a Flat White. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the service is always friendly and reliable. I’ve been coming here for the past three months and not once have I had a bad experience.
I've tried other cafés in the area, but Wildhearts strikes the perfect balance between quality coffee, fair pricing, and great service.
I’m giving it 4 out of 5 for atmosphere—only because the music can be a bit too loud at times. Other than that, it’s a fantastic place.
Usual order: Single Flat White or Double Latte.
