Very disappointed! First off, this location is just a freezer with a few flavors that is inside the basil box store, beside their cash register. The scoop was small, over priced and I've never had such a stale cone in my life. I had the banana milk flavour which wasn't bad, and my partner had the HK milk tea, which tastes nothing close to what a milk tea tastes like. I don't usually write bad reviews, but this was a very disappointing experience, bad taste and the pictures for this location are misleading!
Sesame salted egg ?(really didn’t get the salted egg flavour. Sesame is fine. Decent texture
Not many flavors at this location. To make things worse, the scoop size is ridiculously small for what you pay. The Korean Banana flavor tastes very artificial. Vietnamese Coffee was good. But overall, terrible value.
Overall experience is a 3.Finding the shop was a little confusing as they now share space with Basil Box and another kitchen and there’s no clear signage outside to indicate that they are there.Inside, they have a stall which was unmanned. A staff from the Thai take out next to it came over to help out. She was very helpful and sweet.Flavour availability was lacking. They had only 3 flavours to try and none of the ones that I wanted which were HK milk tea and black sesame salted egg. I was already willing to buy pints of those without trying and they didn’t even have the pints lol.I ended up buying a pint of their Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee anyway. I quite enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee flavour but it kinda tastes like a Tim Hortons iced capp - it’s super sweet. I can’t say Thai iced tea was what I expected. I travelled to Thailand quite a bit for work in the past and I can say that this Thai iced tea ice cream flavour unfortunately did not qualify for me ??♀️. Not getting that one again ?.

Not many ice cream choices... came here expecting its own store and a few dairy free choices but there were only 5 out so flavors, none of which I could eat ):
Before they moved from Gerrard St. East Chinatown location (east of Broadview) to Yonge & Finch, I dropped by weekly to get their excellent ice cream (not too sweet). The banana one of my favorites. Good that their ice cream available at Onyx Chocolates on south side of Gerrard St. East, near former store. I tried the Durian with chocolate condensed milk today - delicious!
Incredibly disappointed that they will be gone soon. Wish that the owner would create a recipe book or something, so many flavours will be missed and will never get to be tasted again ? why do all good things end? I hope he somehow can still sell ice cream on the side if possible ... I know he has many loyal customers who would miss it so much. It's sad to see the brand just die like this. No one else does black sesame and rosewater jasmine like they do.
Still a fantastic ice cream place! Be warned, they only sell pints during the winter months. It'll be sad to see them go on Christmas Eve... Thanks for the great ice cream and memories!
Ice cream with Asian flavours. Their last day will be Dec 24 2021

Go give their wild flavours a try, you won’t be disappointed.
For a moment due to the covid, only sell container ice cream. Tasty and big portion.Hopefully back single corn!!!
This ice cream place is awesome. So many neat flavours. I can't wait to go back. I had the coconut mango sticky rice and it was very tasty. There were so many other flavours I would have loved to try like the Chocolate Yuzu. Highly recommend! Also awesome vegan options.
Very unique flavours, ice cream was super creamy! We ordered a sandwich and two scoops to share between two people… this was A LOT of ice cream, LOL.
One of the best in the city! Amazing unique flavours you won't find anywhere else this side of the ocean. Ice cream does have a gummy stretchy texture.
