Avoid this place if you don’t want to get scammed! The oversize old guy bartender with a white beard charged me $74 for 2 shots of Patron—which isn’t even top-shelf tequila. When I selected **no tip**, he completely lost it, yelling and making a scene. I only threw in $1 just to shut him up after his ridiculous tantrum.

I had a negative experience with the Bodyguard/security guard. Apparently he does not know how to be considerate to Woodys guest or costumers.. Ive been to many bars and Woodys is the worst.. Woodys management team need to train their security how to do their job and how NOT to be a bully..

I went to today , and unfortunately I had a very negative experience at the entrance. The bodyguard stopped me without giving a clear reason. From his comments and attitude, it was obvious I was being singled out unfairly.
I wasn’t intoxicated, I was dressed appropriately, and I was respectful. Still, I was treated differently, and it left me feeling discriminated against and humiliated.
Clubs should be places where everyone feels welcome and respected. I hope the management addresses this issue with their staff, because no one should be turned away based on appearance or personal bias.

I really enjoyed my time here. Great mixed crowds with drag show and a great music mix to dance after the show. Drinks were reasonably priced. Only downside is not to stand over the AC system, it drips water and you don’t want that in your drink or on you. HOWEVER, I’m So glad this space is at a comfortable temperature. Would recommend for new visitors.

I’ve been coming to Woody’s and Sailor for a year now, and last night was truly special. For the first time, someone danced to Indian bolloywood songs — and what a performance it was! The beautiful artist lit up the floor with her energy and grace. Honestly, in front of her, even Bollywood queens like Nora Fatehi and Katrina Kaif would have to step aside. The vibe was electric, the crowd loved it, and it made my night unforgettable. Hats off to Woody’s and Sailor for giving us such moments!

I want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing staff! I accidentally left my phone behind after heading home, and when I called the next morning, they answered before their official opening hours. Not only were they incredibly kind and understanding, but they also let me come by early to pick it up and they had even fully charged it for me!
Thank you so much to the person who found my phone and turned it in, and to nice guy from the staff for going above and beyond. It truly made my day to be reminded that there are still such thoughtful, genuine people out there. I love this place!
I can't believe the first time I visted Woody's & Sailors was in February of 2000! Here I am, 25 yrs later, and still enjoy dropping into Woody's for some drinks and a show. The bar is clean, campy, and has different sections that facilitate the desire for a loud show w/music or a more subdued seat for a drink and conversation.

This establishment, a gay bar, has been a fixture in the community for over thirty years. It offers a wonderful atmosphere and provides excellent service, which is quite appealing. And the clientele is usually nice to look at.
