My friends love going to Wylie's. Service is top notch. Food is really good and not just regular bar food. Nice beef curry on rice. Atmosphere is meh, so bring good friends. Friendly people visit there. Small pool coin tables downstairs.

My buddy and I just had a beer. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for my entire 48 years (Walker, Woodlawn) and I think this bar is older than I am. Nice that it was open on Christmas Eve for the loners! Will have to try the food next time.

Went here in February 2023 for brunch; got a peameal sandwich and the toast came out burnt, with unrelated margarine on it, the peameal was undercooked and fatty. I can see why the more recent menu doesn't have it. Waitress seemed uninterested in wanting to fix up the poor dish with the back-end. The place was dingy and really cold, like they hadn't turned on the heat even after being opened over 2 hours.

Maybe the cook was having a bad day but I still think of that bad meal and had to leave a review.

The staff here are my absolute favourite staff in the city. They make you feel at home and always make sure you're taken care of. It's one of the last places in the city where you feel like it's your second home. Tory, Tom, Taylor and Aldrin, you are all the best!!

Place was dead when I went in around 12pm and smelled a little stale. But made up for it with service and food. Was pleasantly surprised. Everything was made fresh and tasted really nice. The girl working kept checking up on us. Overall 4/5 experience but the bar smell ruined it.

Do not eat here if you have a peanut allergy. They fry peanuts in their fryers so you cannot order half the menu.

For those in the Sumerhill area who want to eat something quick and have a beer or a drink, the Pub is an option.

The place is small, with an upper area with tables and chairs and a bar area, along with the restrooms for customers, and a pool table area on the lower level.

The menu doesn't have a wide variety of dishes and the prices are reasonable.

The service is great, always very polite and attentive.

For those who like Poutine, the order always comes out very well served and tasty.

However, on my last visits, I was dissatisfied with the drinks: both the beers ordered tasted sour, and the mimosa had no taste at all, just of aged orange.

The place is always clean and organized, and now in the spring and summer, they have two tables on the sidewalk, so it's possible to visit with your pet (dog).

For visitors with physical disabilities, the place does not have adapted bathrooms, doors that open and close automatically, or menus in Braille.

I hope that the bar will be better on future visits, because the last few times it was not good.

I really enjoyed my visit to Wylies. This local hangout has survived time as I went years ago. The energy in the room says "local, everyone knows everyone" and that made it even more special. Recommend.

The chicken fingers and fries were pure salt. I didn't eat the fries.
