I went to this restaurant yesterday with a friend. We ordered two tacos—one with chicken and one with beef—and a guacamole as an appetizer. The guacamole was the best part of the meal—fresh and flavorful.
Unfortunately, the rest was a big disappointment. The beef taco smelled really bad—so much so that my friend couldn’t even take a bite. My chicken taco didn’t look or taste like a taco at all. It looked more like a spring roll with dry chicken inside and had no guacamole or proper fillings. It felt like they just wrapped dry chicken in something and called it a taco.
We barely ate anything and still ended up paying around $89 for the meal. I mentioned the issue to the staff, but they just charged us without any apology or explanation.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I think people should know. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place
Thanks for reply! On the picture you can see both dishes when you open the picture . Also I told your employee that we didnt like the food at all but the Guacamole was so good but he didn't do anything!

Avoid this place. I ordered two burritos to go and paid $54 plus 20% tip. At that price I was expecting something special, but when I got home they were terrible. The pork burrito was filled with dry crumbled pork and little else. Ugh!

Went to XOLA to celebrate my friend’s birthday and honestly, the whole night was a vibe. The food was so good; I had this pork dish that was tender and full of flavor, plus some fish tacos that hit just right. We also shared a few apps and cocktails, and everything was straight-up solid.
The host was super chill and welcoming, which added to the good energy. Service was smooth, and the place has this low-key cool atmosphere without trying too hard. Definitely a spot I’d go back to; perfect for catching up with friends or just treating yourself to some good Mexican food.

5 stars all around! Shared everything with a group - guacamole sampler, soup, ceviche, adobo, mole, barbecoa, nopales, dessert - everything was so incredibly flavorful. The food was phenomenal. The ingredients were fresh, the dishes were balanced in terms of flavours, and tortillas were perfectly warmed. The owners were fantastic - super friendly, great service, and they helped us pick out what to eat. Will definitely be back!!

Extremely good! I can vouch as mexican. Their Cochinita Pibil is better than some I tried in Mexico. The staff is super friendly and nice.

Phenomenal! Dined here two times, first time was in 2019, and we finally made time to go back (kid, pandemic, etc…) and it only got better from what we remembered.
Go on an empty stomach, you will want to explore this menu and make room for dessert.

Very cute restaurant! The food was beautifully presented and so flavourful. We thought the prices were very reasonable— especially given the location and quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have good Mexican food in Toronto!

We started with appetizers and then ordered the duck dish from the “main” section which was on the menu for $29.95. It was a very small serving,over priced and over-rated. Our total meal for 2 was $122.67 including tip and we left hungry.
