Based on a recommendation from my roommate, 4 of my roommates and I visited.
Wow, seriously the best sushi restaurant I've been to in Toronto.
It was like a Caribbean pirate ship.

The servers were very friendly, and it was great to see the chefs cooking inside!

Food is always good! The rice is always warm and fresh. Everything we order is always put together with an artful touch. It’s been our go to Sushi restaurant in Toronto for years!

Vegetarian options: Sakura Bento box is always good!!

Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly and Keto friendly options upon request.

Kid-friendliness: Staff are friendly and always accommodating.

Food is not celiac safe, even if they offer gluten-free. I feel they did not take precaution as I found bits of tobiko on my rolls (which is normally not gluten-free). Was extremely sick after eating here, never again. Still giving 3 stars as the food was tasty.

Update: Something in the rolls was not GF though, or the board/knife used to cut was maybe cross contaminated with gluten. My body would not react that way otherwise. I do appreciate the owner reaching...
