I called the store for the first time this last Friday. I was searching for lobster and oysters online and came across their site. After reading many positive reviews I called and spoke with Jean. I asked her if it was possible to do a tray of lobster and a few dozen oysters for the next day? Without hesitation Jean said yes. When I picked up everything the following day I was very pleased with the presentation. At the family gathering later that day everyone raved about the quality. Clearly Ian and Jean take tremendous pride in their business, I would not hesitate to return or to recommend them to others.

Great quality seafood. I got mussels and they were excellent!
Extremely friendly Owners with the best quality seafood. Sushi grade salmon is to die for!
Awesome place and fresh fish, i love it, best quality fish in GTA. I definitely will come back for sure.
We always order the oysters from Yonge Seafood Gourmet. They are so fresh and delicious, and the best part is that they will shuck them for you. I highly recommend this seafood store.
The best fresh seafood store in Midtown Toronto has just moved from Yonge and Eglinton to Eglinton and Avenue. I'm a long time customer. This weekend I picked up some lobster tails, tuna, shrimp and scallops for my son's birthday dinner. Amazing quality. Everyone loved it. A couple times a month I buy a sushi-grade salmon fillet that I typically poach. The store is run by a couple who are the nicest people you could possibly meet. They were worried about the change in location but they told me all their regular customers have followed them there. Attached are photos of the two dishes from the birthday dinner Sunday. A grilled tuna salad with herb greens, beets and hearts of palm. The main was a Thai coconut soup with lobster, scallops, shrimp and black Shiitake mushrooms.
We parked in front of your store in February 23rd the evening at 5:58 pm you where moving out in the last spot in the green p area behind was 2 chairs and a sign to block the cars from parking there for the truck this is fine. we parked like i said in the last spot where the public parking starts and went to a restaurant for dinner around between 6:30 pm one of the movers came into the restaurant looking to see who owned the Mazda it was our car we told them they asked if we could move are car we said we will be done in 10 mins we where almost done and we did pay for the parking if we had moved we would have had to pay again the mover left and another guy with a British accent came in asking if we could move the car and threatened us saying if we don't move the car don't blame us if it gets scratched or if we block you in you wont be able to leave in 10 mins this is unacceptable and very rude of your movers we left and headed north on Yonge st got as far as 2097 Yonge about a block up from where your store is and got a flat tire warning on our car we had to call caa to come the guy took the tire off the car there was no nails in the tire your movers took the air out are tire because we did not move the car this is the reason i am posting this not sure who you hired but they where very unprofessional

Good for PEI oysters. They also have good selection of frozen jumbo shrimps and fish!
