This was such a memorable meal for us. Other Kaiseki and omakase places seem pretentious and too quiet - this place is homey, humble and quite relaxed. The food was incredible in taste and presentation, and the chef and staff were all lovely. The chef is very funny, highly recommend you chat with him throughout the meal. We def want to come back.
I love that somehow eating freshly torched foie gras on A5 Hidagyu wagyu beef, doesn’t seem crazy and pretentious and the chef makes you feel absolutely at home at his bar as he serves up delicious dish after dish. The chef has a great sense of humour, is so incredibly knowledgeable and the staff are very attentive.
