Yunnan Noodle Shack 滇客

I went here with some friends for lunch, we sat in the back group area. I got the spicy chicken rice, which was so delicious. Unfortunately service was lacking, our food took a long time to arrive, they forgot utensils and got our orders confused with other tables. Servers were nice but seemed overwhelmed and clueless, maybe that’s a management issue though.

Came here with my partner, he got the signature noodles and I got a bowl of rice and three of the beef skewers. The noodle was solid - would recommend. The skewers (which are appetizers) took at least 30 minutes to come out. It was very odd, considering the restaurant was empty. By the time the skewers came out, my partner had already finished eating his food and I was starving.

The skewers however also weren't even - one had three pieces of meat, and the other had four pieces. I informed them and they brought me another. They clearly felt bad and brought over a small complimentary dessert after. Unfortunately the server also gave us the wrong bill - we almost had to pay double our bill.

Overall, it's good but lots of area of improvement.

Great spot for solo dining or with friends! Enjoyed the phone holder they provide and foldable walls if you're with a duo. Noodles were good and portion size was nice.

First time going to this place and it so perfect for solo dinning. As I'm and introvert myself very perfect. Place is cozy. Service is fast and staff are very friendly. Food of course is really good. Very tasteful. Price is reasonable.

Food was great! The pork noodles was crispy and delicious! Beef skewer tastes amazing! I also highly recommend ordering a desert afterward, it really completed the experience.
