the food is okay but i found out the owner takes a large portion of the tips from his employees with the excuse of 'being a start-up company' and does not treat his staff fairly. wont be coming back. i hope the labour board investigates.

The food was not bad, but the customer service was not good. I pressed the call button for the bill and water three times each, but the server never came, so I had to call them directly….and I waited a long time

Good noodles. Good for normal diet. No vegetarian options other than sides.

atmosphere is lovely and the workers are extremely nice!
I did go into it knowing I was going to order a rice dish at a noodle spot (I was craving pork belly) and it was alright. it was a bit dry, and the rice was a bit hard too. the appetizer (duck breast + corn/cucumber) was delicious, but it is $5 for a single slice of duck breast. I was craving it so I enjoyed it, but it is a bit on the pricey side imo!
overall, I’d definitely go again to try their main speciality which would be noodle dishes, but for the pork belly I’d most likely not order again. the place is amazing for someone to go solo, with tons of desk space to store items so you don’t have to worry about those while you dine!

Love this new solo dining concept! Food was amazing! I recommend the chilli potatoes for appetizer and tea egg! I like that you don’t feel awkward eating alone here, they even have a phone stand for each table so you can watch your shows! Sanjana was so helpful in recommending the best items on the menu! Overall great experience and can’t wait to be back!

Great first solo dining experience in my entire life. Would definitely go back! I got the traditional noodles with an iced lime tea on the side. The crunchy meat topping and the gravy sauce were my favorite parts.

It was an amazing experience in this little spot close to UoT. It felt peacefully once we step inside, the food was delicious and the table was well organized that you can have enough privacy. Definitely worth to try especially when you have empty stomach.

Today I went to this place with a friend. The waiter greeted us promptly and was friendly and kind. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. Each 'cubicle' has a flap that can swing open to increase or decrease privacy. It is really a cool experience. I imagine a solidarity lunch or dinner here would be enjoyable as well.
The food was great, I got the 'garlic-flavored grilled beef rice bowl combo' and 'chili potato fries'. The portion sizes for everything was reasonable and I feel I was getting my money's worth. The potatoes were honestly may favourite part. Wonderfully cooked and seasoned. The rice bowl was also good, the beef was a little too well done, but the flavours were good nonetheless. The turnip, soup, and pu'er tea were all wonderful sides to complement the rice bowl.
Overall I would recommend this place and I will come back if I'm ever in the neighbourhood again!

This spot is totally Introverts’ Heaven!! Solo Seats, Scan to Order, Buttons to Call for service, and Phone Stands for Video Watching? We tried their Soup, Dried NOODS and Rice- Slow Cooked Garlic Pork Shoulder Pork Bone Soup had chewy NOODS?; Kun-Ming Style Traditional Dried Noodles with Gravy topped with Sunny Egg?; Braised Pork Belly Rice came with tender Pork Belly? we loved it ALL!! Pair your meals with Snacks like Five Spice Potato Fries (MUST✨), and Cold Tofu with Ponzu Sauce! Quench your thirst with Iced Lime Green Tea and Oolong Iced Lemon Tea, both had a RICH Tea base! Y’all gotta check them out!!
I’m rarely surprised by places but this place was definitely a 9/10 resturant.
Only thing I’d say is the outside needs a big open sign with an arrow pointing to the door. It was hard to find

I have been here four times and ordered takeout many times. Today there was an Indian guy who provided excellent service and was very patient. Although I'm not my first time here, it was the first time I saw it and they reminded me that there are drawers under the table to store things, which is so thoughtful!
The decoration in the store is very good, with ingenious details and good reviews!
Delicious and very reasonably priced. Lovely, quick service. Tried the pork soup w/crispy pork & tofu and it was delicious. Cant wait to try new items next time.

The noodles are delicious! Rice noodles are a bit bland for me, a heavy-mouthed person.
