Alchemy Coffee is a cozy spot with top-notch drinks and freshly made food that never disappoints. Everything on the menu is thoughtfully prepared, from their baked goods to their light meals, always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. They offer a great selection of coffee and tea, and the service is consistently friendly and welcoming.
The only thing to note is that the space is on the smaller side, and parking can be a bit tricky at times. But if you don’t mind that, it’s definitely worth the visit for quality coffee and a relaxing atmosphere.
I ordered Americano and Flat White to go. The flavor of the coffee beans is really good. However, the flat white was not flat, with very thick foam like a cappuccino which cut the taste. I have to return to the store before I drove away and simply asked the barista to take out the foam and added more milk as I was in a hurry. Hope they can improve to ensure flat white is flat. Cheers.
I ordered the salmon benedict and it was delicious but the sides were also equally impressive as well. I will totally be coming back here.
It was first time to visit here. Foods were so amazing so definitely want to visit again.😆
This place is awesome.
Coffee is great. Small though and in a little nothingberger strip mall.
Food is lovely. We had the pork belly eggs, smoked salmon salad, and french toast. My only complaint is they can't cook bacon properly. I asked for extra crispy/well done, and it still came out soggy. Everything else was good, though
It's a little pricy for brunch/coffee, but for a once in a while treat, it is ok. Its more expensive than eggsmart of Cora's but the food qualitybis better.
I visit this place 3-4 times a week, primarily for brunch, and I’ve been doing so for the past two years. I appreciate the service, especially from the staff member who usually works weekdays. The coffee is good, but I’ve noticed that the menu hasn’t changed since I first came here, which is quite dull. The owner should consider updating it.
Food is always good.
Haven’t come for a while. Quality remains good. Potato was great; it was cooked just right.
Hojicha latte was perfect for me. Sweetness was just right.
This used to be our favorite coffee spot. Until a new guy started working there. Heavy set man with glasses. Maybe a new owner? He is so rude to the customers. As though he is put out by being in the service industry. Unfortunately, they have lost our business.

*Do not come here if you have more than 4 people. They will refuse to serve you.*
We have been looking forward to trying Alchemy Coffee for months now. Our parents came to visit us in Toronto for the first time in 18 years so we decided to take them here thinking it would have been a nice place for brunch, but we were in for a surprise. We were a party of 7. Apparently this restaurant doesn't take this size of guests. The servers told us to go to the Richmond Hill location. Which would be fine if we didn't make plans to come here in the first place and the elderly people that were to join us were already on their way, and it would be difficult for them to change the meeting location at this point in time. We then suggested to sit separately with the server, 4 at one table and 3 on the stools by the window. The server hesitantlly allowed us to sit down, only to tell us a minute later that this is forbidden and too complex for them to process. What really annoyed us the most is when he said that there was a waiting list (apparently this is a thing and he didn't say this first) and he blatantly said, "WE CANNOT SERVE YOU". I am sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous because the server didn't tell us the first thing that there was a waiting list (but no one was even there waiting) and attitude was just terrible. It feels like this place is doing so well financially, that they don't need our business. We will keep it that way and take our business elsewhere. Its not like Alchemy Coffee is the only place that does brunch. Please have your waiters trained to have basic customer service skills to be courtious. What a total waste of time.

Very average food for a higher end price.
Server is friendly though.

We popped by for a quick breakfast. The staff were so lovely, and quick, and the food was so delicious. The Heritage brand coffee (from Pilot Roasters) was just perfect. We got French toast for my son and the breakfast sandwich (with bacon). The in-house made lime maple syrup was the best we’ve tasted. I even asked if they sell it! We’ll be back!

Cappuccino was for sure taste good. The pancake I was disappointed middle portion of it was a bit uncooked. Not much of the berry topings so the pancake tastes ordinary and the sauce doesn’t help it either. Kitchen probably was busy took about almost 15 mins for the food to be served.

we arrived at 3pm asking for a table. there were several seats open and we were told they were only doing takeout. he said they would be unable to clean dishes. we asked if we could eat our takeout at an open table and he said no, we can’t wipe an extra table ... this is 1 hour before close.
The experience was so bad, we went to a McDonald’s instead
