Our first visit and a bit disappointed. We ordered 2 claypot rice (cured meat claypot rice, yellow eel claypot rice each for 2 ppl), fried large intestine, lamb belly clay pot, Huang Qiban stir-fried cabbage heart. $190 incl tips and taxes. Yellow eel claypot rice The rice was super salty and some pieces of lamb belly not tender. Seating was not comfortable as tables were set close to each other. The place was filled so may be it was the items we ordered not good. You may try your luck but we won 't be back.

There were multiple tables for 4 people in the venue, but 2 people were forced to sit at the smallest table. There was not enough room for 4 dishes, so if you had to change seats, at least 3 people could sit down. . As a result, 2 single people sat on two large tables. . There will be no flexibility at all, there will be no next

How good are these clay pot dishes? It has a lot of steam and good taste. The claypot rice is a bit burnt. If you think Shao Zhong is too scorched, you can ask him to cook more burnt rice. The salt-baked chicken is average. When it was first served, it didn't taste salty at all, but the proprietress was so kind that she immediately took it back and remade it. It can be accepted later. In summary, the price, taste, and service are all very good.

This is a long standing restaurant in New Kennedy Square. Staff are friendly and nice. I had 3 dish set and it came with complimentary soup and dessert. The clay pot rice with preserved meats and sausage was OK. I had better in HK. They don’t leave the lid on to steam after you put soy sauce in which is suppose to be how it’s done. A clean restaurant to Chinese standards w clean washroom is a good start.

Love the papaya fish soup and their clay pot rice. The fried grouper with veggies is also one of my favorites. Service is friendly and attentive. The tables are close by and they get busy quickly. Best to book in advance.

Cheap and good quality, a place worth visiting again and again. Since there are so many people, it’s best to call for location first and go there later when you have time.
