Calabria Bakery in Unionville is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the smell of fresh pastries and coffee — pure heaven. I tried their crema coffee, and it was incredible — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality and care they put into every cup.
The pastries and baked goods looked (and tasted) amazing too — everything felt authentic and made with love. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with that true Italian bakery charm.
If you’re in Unionville, do yourself a favor and stop by Calabria Bakery for a crema coffee — it’s easily one of the best in town! ☕🍰

Calabria Bakery in Unionville is an absolute gem! I stopped in for an Americano and it was perfect, rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The almond croissant, though, completely stole the show, honestly the best I’ve ever had: buttery, flaky, and filled just right.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I also loved that they had a great selection of Italian grocery items.
Plus, the bakery was beautifully decorated for the season, adding such a warm and festive touch. You can tell they put a lot of care into everything they do.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or browsing for authentic Italian treats, Calabria Bakery in Unionville is a must visit!

The food is great here for a Spuntino. The pizza is delicious and the Italian pastries fresh.
I was a bit disappointed thst they charge extra per topping. So if you add mushrooms or peppers then its an extra $1.50 each. They are offering the basic veal on a bun and trying to keep it affordable, which I appreciate. Long gone are the days where you walk into an Italian bakery for a hefty veal cutlet in tomato sauce stuffed into a crusted panino smothered with fried onions, mushrooms, peppers and parmigiano.
However, rent on Main St., Unionville is not cheap and if they're not skimping on quality of ingredients then they have to charge for the condiments or reduce the portions.
Seating is very limited and only available during warm weather.
I have enjoyed their pizza, veal and pastries. I'm going back for the pastries alone.
I rated low on atmosphere only because there is no indoor seating. But, you can grab a delicious pastry to have with your Starbucks coffee across the street, since Starbucks doesn't have very good pastry.

This is a charming gem place that brings the authentic flavors of Italy straight to your neighborhood. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked bread, buttery pastries, and rich espresso. The display cases are filled with an irresistible selection of traditional Italian treats — from flaky sfogliatelle and creamy cannoli to delicate tiramisu and perfectly crisp biscotti.

Good food, simple, veal on a bun with all the toppings was $9.75 before tax, also got the almond croissant, pretty good! Check it out!

I’ve known Calabria Bakery in Scarborough for over 20 years, and it has always been one of my favorite spots. This weekend, I was so excited to discover their new, smaller location in Unionville. We stopped by for coffee and some pastries—wow, the quality was absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I loved that they also offer a great selection of Italian grocery items sourced from both Italy and Canada. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by—such a wonderful experience!

I love this place. I will come back.
Legitimately 100% Italian. Generational Italian recipes passed on from the grandma. If you want to taste the art of fine italian food at affordable prices and with awesome coffee. You need to chill at Calabria for some good positive vibes.

Went in with my 2 year old daughter and 7 month pregnant wife. I ordered an espresso and few cookies. It was a hot summer day and my wife asked for a small cup of tap water. Their response was that they don’t provide tap water. Can you believe they then passed the point of sale asking for a 20% tip on the espresso lol.

I went here for the first time last week with my friends before a bike ride and I was very impressed! We got donuts and they were excellent while also being fairly priced. The staff were also very warm and friendly. Definitely recommend coming to this place!
