This specific location is one of me and my partner’s go to spots. Not just because the meat is prepared better here, but because of Deborah’s service. She always greets us at the door and remembers every tiny details. Moving the chairs so we can sit same side, provides us extra chili powder (highly recommend to sprinkle this on every piece of meat), “everything the same?” after we place our order and our excitement for the complimentary marshmallows at the end. Deborah goes above and beyond for this location. Shoutout to her for always carrying the whole restaurant on her back.

I’ve been before and I will go again. Chat Bar’s food and service have never disappointed me. Though there are menu options I like more than others for instance despite the black pepper kalbi being the more premium skewer the lightness of the regular beef skewer makes it better for eating when you want to have a lot of different items, which you will and should because they have a big menu and everything is great. The interior of the unionville location is very cute on a regular day but they had the waiting area dressed up for Halloween when we went in October.

The staff called Deb were super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They checked in at just the right times and were happy to give great recommendations and the introduction of the happy hour. You can really feel that she care about the customers here.

We try to come here as often as we can. And always order the same delicious food because we crave it. Cabbage, chicken skewers and braised pork on rice (my personal favourite) and then we enjoy the free toasted marshmallow kabobs at the end. We can’t handle hot spices so we select “mild” or “not spicy” and it’s still soooo good! Staff are awesome, attentive and perfect at their job.

A very nice and cozy place. We were the first customers right after they opened at noon, and the food came out very quickly after we ordered.
The grilled fish was delicious, and the other BBQ dishes were also full of flavor. The eggplant was mixed with a well-seasoned sauce that paired nicely with everything. To end the meal, they surprised us with two grilled marshmallows for free, such a sweet and thoughtful touch.
The waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout.
Amazing food and service from Alan and kitchen chefs and staff 💯! My daughter is very picky with her noodles and they compromise her very much so~🙏🏻 The server is very polite and detailed. Food is outstanding as well! We will go back soon!

The grill beef and goat meats were a bit chewy and it all taste the same since it use the same seasoning. The fish and squids were better. The grilling itself was nicely done.

I've been here a million times but my brother has only ever gotten take out through me. It was an experience! He absolutely loved the food. We have such a fun time eating each other choices. We ordered some skewers and other foods not in the pictures but we genuinely went MMMM with every bite! The staff were quick and friendly, the wait time was long but worth it, and we got free toasted marshmallows! This place will always be a staple dinner spot for me 🫶
