Very good porkchops cutlet. Freshly fried and tender and juicy. Very poor ox tongue. Nobody serves thin slices of ox tongue anymore. Curled up and no flavour and therefore no texture. Most ridiculous issue was they wanted extra $3 to replace the rice with spaghetti.

The service and food is SO bad. They just threw and slammed the menu on the table without any explanation. We ordered the black pepper steak, the black pepper sauce tasted like flour with a hint of black pepper and the steak is horrible! The size is not even a typical steak. Instead, it is a skinny, rubbery size and texture. For the price, I will never be coming back.

The food was good and we ordered the Hainan chicken and Steak with fries. The chicken was alright but a little dry. The steak has become smaller than before. The interior decor is starting to become outdated. Nowadays there are better places for the same price point.

Had lunch there and ordered a wide variety of dishes, ranging from fish balls in curry sauce to Hainan Chicken, Poutine with meat sauce, deep fried shrimp wontons, French Toast with/without peanut butter..The overall food quality unfortunately remained the same, below average..the French toast tasted bitter as the oil was probably due for a change, the Hainan chicken was bland, rice was rather hard and again bland, the egg white with shrimp fried rice served on a lotus leaf was similar, rice was hard and the shrimps were bland and overcooked, the curry sauce for the fish balls was really dense, texture similar to dried toothpaste..Surely, the value was quite good as the prices were lower in general, but more attention to details would likely be more welcomed. To grab a quick bite regardless of quality, sure..but if you are looking for quality HK Cafe foods, this is unlikely your choice especially with a sea of similar restaurants in the area.

The noodle soup was very good. I went two days in a row and would recommend it to anybody. I actually the second time I brought some friends back with me the first time my friend recommended it and I tried it stuff that’s available are very fresh it is sore like a buffet. I was so impressed. Try it. You’ll love it.
The mixed steak rice only has pork steak, beef patties are not steak, and chicken drumsticks are not chicken steak.

Came here for breakfast and found out they have quite a few options (Chinese or western). Congee has the right tasty and texture. Not recommended for the rice roll as it was a bit hard to chew after pan fried for long. The noodle soup dish that my wife ordered was also delicious. Milk tea is so so though. Lot of parking and tables on a weekday morning.
