The price is not bad, the sizzling meat is grilled well, but the black pepper sauce is a bit salty, I might try other sauces next time. The Hong Kong-style milk tea is delicious, and the set meal also includes an ice cream, which tastes very good. I haven’t tried other desserts yet, I’ll try them next time

The baked pork chop rice is yummy and similar in taste and quality to other Markham restaurants, but priced slightly more expensively. I miss the many noodle options the previous restaurant at this location used to offer.

HK cafe restaurant located in New Kennedy Square. The menu selection isn't that big, but they have the typical rice and noodle dishes you're looking for. The steak sets are currently 15% off, which is an amazing deal, that includes a drink and ice cream. Prices are affordable and portion sizes are good. I will return.

The environment is clean and organized. I’ve visited a few times, and the food quality has been consistently good.

The baked Pork Chop in Tomato Cheese Sauce with Fried Rice has a pleasantly tangy sauce, with tender pork and no porky smell, and the fried rice base is worth trying. The Baked Portuguese chicken with Fried Rice has a lighter flavor compared to the tomato sauce, with tender chicken and a crispy coating.

The Szechuan Dan Dan Pork Chop Ramen were a bit disappointing, with a light peanut sauce that lacked thickness, quite spicy, and with minimal minced meat.

Recently tried the sizzling plate, which had generous portions. Ordered Black Pepper Steak—the steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and very tender. The steak on the assorted plate was thin and a bit tough, but the pork chop was juicy.

Afternoons are very busy, with long lines, so it’s hard to enjoy the food slowly. Arriving around 5 p.m. is better for a more relaxed meal.

It's a very Hong Kong-style tea restaurant. Because there are more Hong Kong people in Toronto, it has its own market and the food is pretty good. It's a pretty good restaurant.

Had an absolutely terrible experience here, When we ordered the food for breakfast the waitress never asked for what kind of eggs we wanted and the. proceeded to blame us for not telling her otherwise. Like she asked us for what kind of noodles and what kind of drinks but doesn’t ask us for what kind of eggs then puts the blame on us for her not asking us how we want our eggs. Then next off the same waitress told us to order takeout later when we wanted to get takeout but when later came she wasn’t able to process our meal because it was pass the time threshold and then we had to order something else. When our food arrived the waitress gave us 3 of our 4 dishes and the 4th dish didn’t come until we asked about in 4 times and guess what they gave us the wrong dish. Everyone was done eating before we got the last dish. At the end when we had to order our takeout of a different item when we paid for it and asked if it was ready they said they would check but never came back, We waited 10 mins but guess where the takeout was. Waiting in the table full of takeout that they never gave us. Absolutely terrible service and would not come here again.

I haven’t been here since they changed from the noodle place until now. Overall pretty good. Had to wait for a table at lunch but not for long. The baked cheese/bolognese pork chop on rice was great, and very filling. However the bubble tea wasn’t that great, and selection not that good either, not too worth the extra price.

Friendly staff, quite helpful. The portion of the food is small, it is definitely not the average HK style Cafe pricing. I ordered baked seafood cheese rice and there was one small shrimp and a very little bit of fake crab meat then lots of rice. Not worth the price. Their HK style tea is served in a small cup and the HK tea taste is not there at all. Would not go back to this restaurant.
