Tried this place for the first time as a girls night out. Parking can be a little tricky. There is a lot of people visiting this plaza so above ground parking is usually full. They do have an underground parking though. Ambiance - 4/5: it is a small and narrow store front but they can seat quite a few tables. We asked to switch tables because the original area was cold since it was close to the door and they were willing to do so. They only have 1 universal bathroom but it's clean and spacious. The servers spoke in Chinese and English. And they had Cantonese songs playing in the background the whole night. Made me feel like singing karaoke haha. Service - 4/5: their service was pretty good. They are quick and if they are serving someone else, they will acknowledge your request but will ask you to give them time. If the whole table pays by cash on one bill, you get a 5% discount. Food - 4/5: They had garlic seaweed, thinly sliced daikon (or white radish), dangmyeon (glass noodles We ordered the seaweed roll (gimbap) and seafood pancake to share. Individually, we ordered a chicken katsu bento, mackerel bento, pork bone soup (mild spice) and army stew (regular spice). I was debated between the pork bone soup or mackerel bento but opted for the pork bone soup. It did look really good though. My friend says it was good but got a mouthful of fins at one point. The gimbap was good. It fell apart sometimes, depending on how you picked it up with your chopsticks. I personally did not have an issue. They give you 8 big pieces. The seafood pancake was ok for me. I liked that the outside was very crispy. But the inside, I found quite wet. The pork bone soup - it was a big portion and definitely filling. Mild spice was very spicy for me. It definitely cleared up my sinuses. They had 2 big bones, 1 potato and 2 long cabbage pieces. The meat was tender but unfortunately, it was not fall of the bone. I still needed to use my hands. It also came with a bowl of rice. Overall: 4/5 - I recommend this place!

My new favourite Korean restaurant! I ordered takeout to take home for my family and did not get disappointed. The boneless chicken was JUICY and the right crisp! The gimbap was delicious but fell apart at times. Pork bone soup was EXTRA SPICY. I guess it's not for the weak at all. The chicken katsu was absolutely out of this world! It wasn't dry, it was the right crisp as well and perfect amount. It came with side dishes like seaweed, pickled yellow radish and dumplings. I will order here again for sure!

We come to this spot once a week! The food is always delicious, value is unbeatable, and service is fast and friendly! We have never been disappointed with a visit to Moms Kitchen. We highly recommend the gamjatang (tip: get it with udon!), bibimbap, fried chicken, and japchae!

Great place but the food quality seems to be getting a little underwhelming than before.. I used to love this place but their meat quality isn’t there anymore. I ordered ribs and it was too chewy to eat.. I ordered the gyoza and it was soggy.. however their soup was still great so I appreciate and enjoyed that. I hope next time the ribs will be better :)

I loved the service and the overall atmosphere. But their side dishes are one of the worst and their hotpot dish, which was 34.99, turned out to be the biggest unfortunate event to my stomach and digestive system. Both my wife and I had food poisoning after eating their hotpot. My review is exclusive to their hotpot and side dishes. Not saying their other food is bad.

Ordered gimbap for delivery and it was delicious! They were rolled a little poorly and broke apart but it doesn't affect the flavour or quality of the ingredients .
