We had such a great experience at this restaurant in Union Village! The location is beautiful—perfect for a nice walk before or after your meal. I went with a group of my co-workers, and we were all impressed by the food and the warm hospitality. The service was excellent, and the vibe was really welcoming.
We ended up trying each other’s meals, and honestly, everything tasted amazing. The fried Brussels sprouts were a standout—I’d definitely go back just for those! I’ve also heard great things about their brunch options, and I can’t wait to come back soon to try them myself. Highly recommend this spot!

This restaurant is NOT dog friendly :
Went to the restaurant with our small puppy (she was in a doggy bag), they let us sit outside.
Some waiters saw her and didn’t tell us anything so we thought the patio was dog friendly.
Took an extra chair to put her bag on it so we could keep an eye on her. Some waiter rudely asked us why we took that extra chair if we were only like 6 people.
Anyways, we let our dog out of her bag to sniff around our table and have some air (it was very hot that day). We ordered and minutes after another waiter comes and tells us that only service dogs are allowed on the patio. Told them she was gonna stay in the bag and they let us stay because we already ordered.
Could have been better if they told us the patio was not dog friendly before we sat down and ordered.

Food and service is good. Plenty of free parking available. The restaurant sign needs to be more visible. The front entrance is not clear. The restaurant is listed on Google as Nextdoor Restaurant, but people need to look for a sign that reads ND. Also, this restaurant is located on Main Street in Unionville, NOT the Main Street in Markham which is about 4-5 km apart, so it is very confusing all together looking for this restaurant.

I went to Nextdoor Restaurant on my birthday for a late brunch after 2 PM, hoping for a nice celebration. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience.
We ordered the brunch tower for two, which cost nearly $60. Unfortunately, everything on the tower was salty and overcooked—even the pancake was chewy. We tried to stay positive since it was my birthday, but things just got worse.
At 2:45 PM, we were told it was last call for orders. We didn’t place any additional orders, unaware of what was about to happen. After the last call, they seated another table just before 2:45 PM, but once those customers left, the lights were dimmed. While I thought it might be to prepare for dinner service, it became clear we were being rushed.
The most frustrating part was when a server started sweeping the floor right beside our table while we were still eating. It made us so uncomfortable that we stopped eating and asked for the bill. When I asked the server if they were closing, she told us they take a break from 2:45 to 3:30 PM.
What’s upsetting is that they never mentioned their break—not when we arrived, not when we ordered, and not when they told us about the last call. If they had told us upfront, we wouldn’t have stayed or placed an order. Instead, they rushed us and made us feel unwelcome, effectively ruining what should have been a special meal.
To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the server stood over us and stared at the payment machine while both my friend and I chose the tip amount. We felt rushed and pressured, and even though she didn’t deserve it, we both ended up tipping 18%. This added to the overall unpleasantness of the experience.
This was my third visit to this restaurant, but it will absolutely be my last. Between the rude service, lack of communication, disappointing food, and the pressure to tip, I can’t recommend this place to anyone. A solid 1-star experience.

Wonderful, warm, friendly service. Our group, my company's Christmas dinner was treated to attentive, warm service. The food offerings were not wonderful however. The steak, mushroom risotto, chicken dishes were lacking, plating, taste and complement to it's sides. The salad and ice cream were surprisngly good. Based on my first time experience I couldn't recommend a visit.

Definitely reccomend! Situated in a cute town, this spot serves goodness! From the fluffy pancakes topped with berries and whipped cream to the hearty plate loaded with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, lamb sausage, roasted veggies, Shakshouka and fresh bread with jam—every bite was chef’s kiss! Perfect vibes, great service, and enough deliciousness to keep us full for the day.
