Competitive priced Traditional Dim Sum items. No fancy fusion or creative dishes. Food tasted great and I think the best “glutinous rice with preserved meat dumplings.” They have robot dishes are poorly translated to English thus causing some confusion.
They have robot servers to arrive at your table while a live server will serve the dishes on your table. The payment service however, slow to come and hazardous.

Food is decent but this restaurant needs a re model. As a banquet style restaurant, it needs an update. Place looks tiring and a bit dirty.

NKS Banquet Hall was recommended by my friend for dim sum. We came around 10:30am on a Sunday, and got a table for 6 people right away.

First impression: the dim sum portions were quite big! There were so many varieties of food items to choose from, and all very reasonably priced! The restaurant was very spacious and they use robots to deliver dim sum items (** Note: when food arrives, you have to wait until a staff is available to get the food from the robot for you)

We would highly recommend the cripsy seaweed rolls, aka 定海神針 (the Chinese name is nothing to do with the actual food item lol). We ordered by pointing it at other tables🤣🤣

The BBQ Pork BLB was also very special, and you don't see this combo very often, plus, huge portions of 3!

I also enjoyed the chicken rice rolls, and the one with steamed egg tofu!

Overall, I had a great experience. I will return again and bring my parents next time!

Looking to have a nice meal with family and enjoy the service? Don't come to this place. Fish is not gutted well; salt is not spread evenly in fried rice; Peking duck doesn't come with enough bread. The restaurant is under-staffed so during dinner time you can barely get any attention from the waiters, considering some even avoid eye-contact so they don't have to serve you. If you don't mind low quality food for a lower price, I guess this restaurant is okay. If you prefer to have an enjoyable meal, my advice is to skip this restaurant.

Dibao Banquet is located in the New Mong Kok Plaza. Tonight coincides with the 36th anniversary celebration of the Guangdong Taishan Association, so the house was packed with guests. The dishes were rich in color, aroma and flavor. There were also singing and dancing performances . The highlight was the lucky draw, with gifts given by businesses affiliated with the Taishan Association. Almost everyone won a prize and everyone was happy!

The Imperial Banquet is located in the New Mongkok Plaza. Tonight coincides with the 36th anniversary celebration of the Guangdong Taishan Association. Sausage rolls are the best👍👍👍
The frying oil is quite fresh, so the spring rolls are good, but the skin of the lotus root cake is very thick and hard.
Other things are much rougher than my feeling.
But the price is quite economical

Food was great. Dumplings are huge! Everything was hot when it arrived at the table. Staff were quick to take orders, deliver food and bring the bill.

Parking: Parking is plentiful before noon, but parking lot is very busy after 12pm. We were there on a Sunday, arriving at 11:30am and leaving around 1:30pm

There is reason to believe that it is the lowest quality restaurant in Markham, and possibly the worst in Toronto!

The food is substandard. We ordered shrimp dumpling. The shrimp had turned bad. We returned it. All other dim sum and dishes were not in good taste. We will never go back again.

Having dim sum at this restaurant you see a cockroach running around on the table. I told the manager and he said he knew and it was probably coming from the dim sum baskets but they had exterminators come the day before for the cockroaches. The manager doesn't even apologize or give a discount and walks off. 20 minutes later another cockroach appeared on the table and this time we put a cup over it and showed the manager, who just took it and walked away. I told our waiter about this and he just laughed like it's happened often. Never coming to this place again.

Wow I’ve been to many dim sum i. My life this has got to be the worst. I feel like they charge above average dim sum food for poor dim sum quality . Honestly even if I was paying 1$ per dim sum I would not subject myself to such quality again. I expected better. Food taste, texture and appearance is like 3 days old food or leftover scraps. I paid $78 for 2 adults and 2 kids for about 7 items. Note they charged “kids tea” price at $1 even though they didn’t drink tea. Adult tea is $2 each. Even food court or grocery dim sum is better than this. Big disappointment

The food was not fresh at all, and I brought a smiski with me (they cost around $20) I sadly forgot it. Then when I come back to get it they throw it out. They should have a lost-and-found.
