A wonderful find in Unionville. The hospitality is top-notch, and the kitchen is impressively clean. Both the Jokbal and Korean fried chicken offer an authentic local taste that really impressed me. Highly recommending this hidden treasure to everyone!

We had a simple pre-birthday dinner with my fam here at Pig & Chick and it was such a lovely experience. 🥹

They warmly accommodated our group of 13 adults and 2 kids with so much kindness and generosity. Everything we ordered was delicious — the crispy Korean fried chicken, bulgogi, kimbap rolls, cheeseballs, flavorful side dishes, and the jokbal, which my husband and Korean brother-in-law truly enjoyed!

Everything was served generously, and the owners were incredibly sweet and accommodating. No complaints at all — just amazing food and a very happy family celebration.

Highly recommend if you want authentic Korean flavors and heartfelt hospitality! 💛

Great KFC

I came here for dinner and everything I ordered on the menu was delicious! The jokbal was the highlight of our meal because it was authentic and VERY delicious. It’s typically hard to find good jokbal in the GTA but I was told by the server that one of the chef’s used to own a jokbal restaurant in Korea which was very much reflected in the food!

We also had the fried chicken, creamy curry tteokbokki, and cheese balls which were all very good. I can’t wait to come back and more things on the menu!

Good casual spot in Main St Unionville for Korean fried chicken and jokbal.
There's a variety of menu options, so everyone (including kids) can enjoy something.

Service was really good as they kept checking up on us. As well, they would keep refilling the side dishes.
They even gave our group a complimentary order of fries!

Very overpriced for the portion size, it was also quite burnt, we had to throw out some really charred pieces of rice cake, it’s like paying $50 for a serving for one person, taste is just alright, quite a disappointment
Update: I thought it was just a little charred but a lot of pieces were burnt to black, you can’t tell at first with all the seaweed they sprinkled, I don’t understand how they thought this whole dish was acceptable to serve to people

Delicious fried Chicken that is crunchy, juicy and flavorful! They come in a variety of flavors and have spicy and non-spicy options as well as boneless and with bones. My favourite flavors are prinkle and honey butter. I love Korean fried Chicken because it is not greasy or overly salty! There is parking located next to the restaurant in a small lot.

Boyfriend and I checked out Pig and Chick for the first time, decided to go during a snow storm for some comfort food. Friendly service throughout our meal, great flavour, and we will definitely be back :) ordered the army stew ramen and the boneless spicy bbq Korean fried chicken, yummy !!!

I ordered an 8pc soy garlic chicken and about a minute into eating my food, the server came over with a pair of chopsticks and picked up a piece of my chicken and said “We accidentally gave you 9 instead of 8” and proceeded to walk back into the kitchen. It’s flu season and i could’ve spat on it. Otherwise food was okay, rolls were pretty good.

My friends and I come here every week! This place has really great tteokbokki, and their fried chicken is probably the best I've ever had. The service is really great too, and the photobooth is a nice touch. There are a LOT of wasps hanging around the store in the summer though.
