Stopped by for a quiet breakfast and was first seated near the restroom, with the bathroom door wide open and a fan placed right outside, blowing directly into the corridor where my table was. Not ideal. I asked to move and was told the only other option was a high table by the window, since all others were occupied. I accepted.
Soon after, two regular tables (and a large one) opened up. When I asked to switch again, I was told no because those were being held for possible larger groups. I understand space planning, but this was 11am, not peak hours.
If the concern was turnover, I’d happily accept a time limit instead of being placed near the restroom “just in case” other customers might show up.
If you’re dining solo, you might want to rethink this spot.

Loved the coffee and the service was wonderful. The music wasn't quite my taste, but it didn't take away from the overall great experience.

I've been here a few times, and it's been consistent. They've got an extensive drink menu. As for breakfast, I do recommend their smoked salmon, or if you want something more dense, try their creamy udon dish. Food is superb and their service is excellent!

Yummy Matcha Love, waffle and classic breakfast this morning. I wish the sunrise waffle club sandwich had come with hollandaise sauce tho. Everything else is nicely done and served.

Took a good 20 minutes to get our drinks and then another 10 minutes for food. The matcha latte was very good.

Platform has the kindest staff, most delicious coffee & incredible food! Place gets super busy so good luck getting a spot during busy times. Also the owner is INCREDIBLE. She’s really kind and a consummate professional.

The theme is extremely cute and the set up is nice and cozy. The atmosphere is probably one of the best I’ve ever seen in a coffee shop.
The warm and cozy latte was great. Extremely strong in flavour as promised with a prominent ginger kick.
Love the fact that their coffee profiles are describe in detail so you can choose.
Not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed with my matcha. It was on the watery side with tiny pieces of matcha powder floating.
Food was good. Had the torched salmon with wasabi sauce which was really good. I loved the crunchiness of the hashbrown and the fact that there were THREE on my plate. But it looked like packaged hashbrown which was the only downside.

I was here with friends over the weekend, and despite it being super busy, we had a great experience! Next time, I’ll definitely make a reservation though, as the booth seating can feel a bit cramped.
The food and ambiance really stood out. I was impressed by the generous portions and the quality—much better than your typical coffee shop. I loved my creamy udon and hojicha latte; both were delicious!
Although the seating is limited to 1.5 hours (as our waitress mentioned and is noted on the menu), they seemed flexible with this during peak hours, which was a nice touch given how busy it was.
Vegetarian options: They do offer vegan milk.
Dietary restrictions: They have vegan milk options.
Parking: Could be difficult to find parking on weekends.

Platform Espresso Bar has fast service, a clean and calm atmosphere perfect for work, and spotless washrooms. Loved the espresso cola, sweet waffles, and the super friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The style here is somewhere between a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant and Cora, in terms of food quality and portion size👍👍👍; another selling point is that several servers all speak Cantonese😊

All I can say is wow. Sunday brunch time and the place was packed. Greeted at the door with a welcoming smile I knew it would be worth the wait. The food did not disappoint. The americano hit the spot, avocado toast with scrambled eggs was perfectly cooked, and my wife’s French toast cubes were just amazing!
