Took my sister and her husband for her birthday dinner. Usually I've come for brunch or lunch and the food and service has been excellent. But we were blown away by our dinner. Not only was the food and cocktails delicious, portions were absolutely huge. We had the beef croquettes and guacamole to start, then jerk chicken, ribs and fried chicken for our mains. Take out containers were cheerfully provided. We were too full for dessert, but the waitress brought a plate of the delicious donuts in caramel sauce with a sparkler candle. And we managed to each eat a donut that were incredibly light. It was a great meal and evening.

We had a wonderful meal, served hot and quickly! Our Server, Veronica, was efficient and was courteous and friendly. To top it off, the manager surprised us with a nice glass of Prosecco to start which was a nice treat! Smash never disappoints!

We had spanish mussels & roasted corn & Jalepeno dip for appies then bucatini for main. The sauce for mussels was delicious. Bucatini with mushrooms was extremely scrumptious. A couple of expresso martinis to wash it all down. Servers were very friendly. Fabulous dinner!

Wonderful plant-based burger, homemade. Salad was fresh and the mac and cheese was delicious. The sweet potato fries I would have appreciated them being crispy and not soggy. But there were plenty of them. I always enjoy my dinner there.

Hadn't visited for over a year! Tried to make reservation on the phone was told they are very busy, book on-line. We got reservation immediately, lots of tables were free. When we got there the place was empty and didn't fill up for the two hours that we were there on a Saturday at 11am...so why lie? The food was okay, it was better the last time I was there, and what shocked us was the cost! It has increased so much, not sure if it's worth the drive all the way there!

I had my 30th birthday dinner at the Markham location and it was an amazing experience. The food was incredible — everyone loved their meals — and the service was fast and seamless.
A big thank you to our server Anitha, who worked so hard to keep everything running perfectly, and to the manager Jason, who made sure we were well taken care of from the start. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, and it really made the night special.

I ate at Smash Kitchen and Bar Markville yesterday with my parents. We really enjoyed our meals, seafood pasta, ribs, and smash burger. All well made and super tasty, good portions. The dessert donuts are light and perfect amount of sugar to satisfy the end of our meal.
The restaurant itself has a lovely vibe, lots of seating of different kinds to cater to small or large groups.
This was my second time there. I must say the service was warm and exceptional. Anitha made sure all of our needs were met and checked on us regularly, asked about any allergies. Other servers also ensured our waters were filled.
I believe the managers name is David. He is also warm and thoughtful as we were celebrating two birthdays and he took the time to make sure we enjoyed our meals, offered complimentary coffee and chatted.
We will be sure to return and continue to support this family owned establishment. Thank you!

Went here on a recommendation for a birthday event with our group of 7. The servers were all attentive, friendly and lively, we never once had to ask our water to be refilled since they always kept watch around our table. Food wise, we ordered a mix of items from their menu (Ex. Southern Creole Mac & Cheese, Seafood Linguine, Buttermilk Chicken). Each item was delicious and the portions given were extremely generous. They also provided compensation as thanks for coming to their place to celebrate with a $15 voucher to the next visit. We will definitely be back on the next occasion!

Went on a Wednesday which was the smash burger special. Wouldn't usually order a smash burger but since it was on special. It was delicious!!! Fries were also delicious service was great and I will make plans to go back to try all of their specials nights!

We had our dinner in the patio. Server Amy was lovely - food and beverages good - bUT why not “pretty up” the patio space? Handing pots or planters with summer flowers? Attractive little flower vases on each table? Decorative lamps/ lights to add some summer ambience to a space that could be so attractive?

Location is a strip mall tucked in corner but prices are high for ambiance and menu selection is small and not very exciting. Cocktails pricey and not very strong. Seating needs major renovation
