We recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The staff took our order but added an extra item we didnāt ask for. We ordered the seafood linguini and the smash burger with sweet potato fries.
The sweet potato fries were soggy and overly soft, almost like they had been fried and then steamed. Considering the restaurant is very close to my home, they should have arrived in much better condition. The burger wasnāt great eitherāthe patties were very thin and dry, and it came with wilted lettuce. One piece of fresh lettuce was included, which felt more like a fluke than a standard. The burger also left a greasy aftertaste.
The seafood linguini lacked flavor and overall just didnāt taste good. On top of that, the food was overpriced for the quality we received. The service didnāt impress either.
Unfortunately, I canāt recommend this place and wonāt be returning.

Got brunch with a friend & we loved it! The breakfast poutine was incredible. Thomas was a great server, heās so kind and has a great personality and treated us like longtime friends! First time here & will definitely be back :)

First time coming here & brunch was amazing! Service was great and everyone was all smiles. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Hash and it was so good. Really nice and clean inside and although we didnāt sit on the patio this time around, it looked super nice and comfortable! Next time around we will be bringing our son :)

I ordered jerk chicken with pureed potatoes and garden vegetables. But the bird was smothered with sweet BBQ sauce. Even my wife tried it and she said there is something wrong here. Her fish and chips were average. The kids had Mac n cheese and that was more delicious than our dishes.

I attended with a 20+ group for a family graduation party at Smath Kitchen and Bar. The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent, and our server and host, Andrew, gave us attentive and personable service. He was professional and friendly and all of our guests had a great time. The food and drinks arrived in a timely manner, and the quality was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for small, medium and large groups.

This restaurant is usually our āgo toā place. However after last nights service we will not be back. The service was very slow. Our server never came to our table to check on us or ask if everything was ok. Food was subpar. The ribs were over cooked and dry with very little meat. I had to go find the server to pay the bill after asking him that we were ready to pay over 15 mins prior. Found him chatting with the staff at the front. UPDATE: Received a call from Jason at Smash who was very interested in hearing about our experience. This was great and tells me that Management cares about their clients. I changed the rating

Iāve been here several times. Food quality is excellent and consistent. I always order the cornbread, ribs and burgers for my family. The fish tacos are also delish! Brunch is also great here and a must try - Chicken and Pancakes. Sooo good!!! Keep up the great work, guys!
